Do any of you stop breathing
when you are trying to maintain the dream under your own power....I noticed that if I have dream's that I can fly....Either it will feel like I'm trying to swim thru the air or I'm like vegeta in DBZ......but, what get's me is when I am in intense lucid dreaming....Like I will stop breathing just to keep control of the dream......I know it doesn't happen all the time and also I just need to work on them more but, I don't want to stop breathing and then die because of a dream...

I have paranoid segments where I'm afraid Ill forget how to breath...it sucks...I get so preoccupied with my breath.

if you're weak minded and feel fear it will become a problem in a LD. you might be breathing in a dream but are you really? you might blink but do you even need to? your body is safe and sound back in HQ.

I always feel fear cuz I have OCD Pure O and my theme is thinking I am at God's Judgment and, going to be thrown in hell at any minute..............

And on that note, the only time I ever thought about breathing in a lucid, was during meditation. Also, moved dream control.

one shouldn't worry of things that we dont have control. thats how I live but if you're concerned about your soul go to church or read the bible.
the bible may have been written by men, but they were inspired by god and it has many truths and predictions becoming truth as we speak but weither I got to hell or heaven I will be fine as long as I can exist there. also I believe that even time travelers cannot change what is destined to happen so why fight it?

You have to work on being able to be invulnerable first. Once you can't be hurt by anyone or anything you can move on. Walk before you run.

Yeah, no reason at all to be afraid of not being able to breathe in your sleep. Trust me, it happened to me a couple nights ago - I had some kind of sinus infection and my sinuses were all swollen up right where they enter the throat. Apparently while sleeping my throat kept drooping shut and blocking my breathing, which gave me lots of dreams of suffocating, but I'd always wake up instantly and start breathing again. NO way it's gonna kill you or anything - the only real problem it gave me was it kept waking me up so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. :insomnia:

there is a condition called sleep apnea. If you think it is a problem consult your doctor.
