Um....are my methods on the right track?

Im trying to achieve LD and I am going through a number of methods that I do every night before I go to sleep....>_>

I drink water before and after sleeping. Does that help? >_>

I always repeat to myself " The next dream you dream will be Lucid..."

And...I always repeat and foucs on getting a lucid dream.

And my Dream diary is right next to me. .

Would anything else help?

I am considering to switching to drinking milk. Lol. -.-

Please help. Thank you.

I'm not sure why drinking water would help -- unless you are using the need to urinate as a method to wake you up after a few hours.

As I mentioned to you in private, I would recommend using the WBTB method. Make sure that you wake up after sleeping 4-6 hours (hopefully this will be right after a dream, so you can get up and journal it ). Then stay up for 30-60 minutes, keeping your mind on lucid dreaming (like reading DV forums). Then when you return to bed, repeat to yourself "The next thing I experience will be a dream".

And remember, confidence is key!

Hm. I shall try that method tonight and hopefully it will work. I heard that drinking water before and after dreams help you remember your dreams ><. It works sometimes....like...I drink water....and then...in the morning when you drink water or have it spalshed to your face...it sometimes triggers your memory of dreams. :/....Thanks for the method.

yeah...i doubt water is gonna help you much....

Anyway , what he suggested is a really good method. It's easy and you practically dont have to do anything. Reason why its my favorite. try WBTB for like a whole week and see what you get

That method is sorta hard for me..><...I can't use an alarm clock, and it's hard for me to wake up after a dream by force of mind. :/. Ill try it anyway, but Im not that succesful at it so far. -.-

Have you tried RCing and have you attempted to WILD (i cant do that but I hear it produces some of the most clear LDs, one day ) i'm not sure how drinking water helps either but the rest sounds good. you gotta remember it takes practice as well
It says my lucid age is 10 years+ that's true but I still have recall issues

I know i am new at this but instead of telling yourself that you are going to be lucid tell yourself that you are going to dreams and once your in a dream look for RC's.

I read somewhere that if you drank half a glass of water right before you went to bed, then drank the other half when you wake up, it does help with dream recall. (especially if you drink the other half in your dream as a rc)
I've never been able to WILD, but I find if I get completely exhausted before I go to bed so I fall asleep quickly I tend to be more likely to go into a LD.

try setting your alarm to wake up during your dream cycle to improve dream recall.

for an effective induction method try the Wake Back to Bed Method.
