I'm glad you clarified the RC fail. Maybe I have it wrong, but fail would mean that it didn't do what it was suppose to do. In this case, allow you to breathe through pinched nose. |

Wow I haven't been on here in forever! Well anyway, recently I decided to take a nap, just to sleep. I entered my dream, and I was partially lucid, somehow (I don't remember a lot of the dream so this story is patched together from fragments). So, I was walking around in my house a bit, and next thing I know I'm flying through my house. Despite this, I still wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not, so I did the nose pinch RC. It failed (by failed I mean I could breath through my nose despite it being pinched) and I instantly became lucid, and landed in my dining room. On the dry sink in my dining room, I saw some fruit snacks, and was curious to see how things tasted in dreams. So, I tried to walk over to it... and discovered I was having a hard time walking. I mostly ignored this, deciding to just go on these forums to look up some solutions to it when I woke up. I grabbed the fruit snacks, poured a few pouches into my mouth, ate them (they tasted awesome) then woke myself up by blinking hard (for some reason, I was convinced my hamster, who has been dead for several years, was nibbling my ear in waking life) So... how do I move around fluidly in dreams without feeling partially paralyzed |

Well it's not like I feel heavy, my limbs feel normally weighted, it's just like... you know when you are in sleep paralysis and you can feel your limbs, but can't move them? It's like that, but I can still use some of my limps, and have limited control of the paralyzed ones. One thing I noticed, I forgot to ground myself into the dream (rubbing your hands together) so maybe that's the problem? |

If you are in a dream, you are not subject to waking world gravity rules. If you are, that's most likely, because you think you are. You have to convince yourself, that your dream body has no mass and you can do anything you wish. Shouting commands works surprisingly well. |

Thanks, you're real helpful ^~^. I really wish I wrote this dream in my DJ, but I've been so busy with school for the past few months, Ive stopped writing in it. I'm still very busy with school, but after this recent accidental LD, I decided to pick it up again. |

Even if all you have time for is a few keywords, write them down. Repeat the dream in your head and use words to do that. That way you have a better chance to remember it and write the whole dream down later. By repeating it with words you transfer it to your non-dream memory. |
