      How to control a dream?

Hello, I use to be an active LDer a few years back. Well, I want to return to LD again, I started using my alarm clock LD method and already had 2 short ld on my first try in years.

As usual, my LD always, always start with me laying down in my bedroom.

So anyway, I was wondering if anyone can reteach me on how to....

      1. Summon a item/person
      2. How to teleport

I tried using the door method, but saying what will behind the door when I open it, it doesn't work.. tried it 3-4 times. I also can't seem to make items appear in my pocket any more or when I try to turn around and look behind me.

I can't even rub my hands in my dream to stabilize it, my hands just slow down like there sticky.

Second, I can't teleport. I tried spinning technique, I flew in the air, got dizzy and fell to the ground.

Please help lol, I feel so helpless in my own world I use to dominate with a golden pinkie finger.

I guess it's all about believing that you are in control. (i know it's the standard answer to this question. )

I had a LD where i wanted to have a cigarette, but when i used a lighter it just flashed like a flashlight. So i closed my eyes and remembered the feeling of lighting one in real life, and suddenly i could taste the smoke so i opened my eyes again and it was lit.

In another LD i wanted to summon one of my friends, so i simply got into a state of mind where i believed that he was right behind me, and had been there the whole time.

Imagine that you find a pink fish wearing a tophat and tie and that you find it weird (obviously). You then call out something like: "Hey John, come watch this!" and turn around only to see John running towards you. That is the kind of "expectation" i use to summon people.

Other times i simply think something along the lines of:"I'm going to meet up with John, and he's right around the corner."
It works for me most of the time.

      EDIT:
I think the door method fails for most people because they WANT a person to be there instead of KNOWING that he is there.

Welcome back! And congrats on the lucids

Check out these links (some of them might be a bit lengthy but they're really worth it):

      http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...-tutorial.html

Remember that there are many ways to stabilize, if your hands seem to be sticky, you can try rubbing your feet against the ground instead, or lick your lips, etc.

Hope this helps, good luck bro

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thank you both for the welcome and help. I'm glad to be back. It seems there's a lot to catch up on and a lot of new techniques to learn. I do however, have one more question. I have a DROID an I was wondering if there is an app that is a clock then hoes off, bu also turns its self off after a few buzzes.

I have it on iOS, so i'm not quite show how it is for you. I removed it though, because I use another alarm app. I tried it for a bit, but I can't get it to go off when it's in the background (something I really need). I did find another app though, if you wanna check it out Complete Review of Alarm Clock Xtreme Android App
