Has this happened to anyone else?

I remember a few nights ago, I had this dream where something happened to jump out at me and scared me awake(can't remember what). I woke up in my bed thought the dream was weird so I got up to go to my kitchen. I reached my bedroom door then suddenly woke up again. That freaked me out so I got up again, I walked out of my room and got a couple steps down my hall and I woke up again. Every time I would get a little further down my hallway but wake up again and at the time I didn't know what was going on. Once I finally was getting close to the end of my hallway my movement started to get slower like i was in slow motion then I reached the hall door and woke up for real. Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else? TL;DR I kept having false awakenings where Id wake up in my bed over and over like 10 times.

You need to learn reality checks to stop this from happening and be more aware in dreams.

That sounds like a chain of false awakenings...it happens to most who are trying to lucid dream, especially if you are practicing DEILD. To prevent them, simply do a reality check every time you wake up. Next time it happens you will catch yourself with the RC and become lucid :p
