How to transform

One of my first goals with lucid dreaming is to transform into other people to get inspiration for stories and understand other point of views. I also want to be other animals but mainly just other people. Whenever i try however, nothing happens. I tried looking in a mirror and changing, ive tried spinning around and changing and also i tried things like drinking potions but nothing ever happens and i still stay the same. Does anyone have any experience with shapeshifting that can help me

So i had a lucid dream last night and tried the method where a DC transforms you, so i went up to a random dc and said "Ok can you make me into a different person now?" They responded gleefully and happily tried by waving their hands in front of me but it didn't work. I told them to try again and it took several times for it to finally work. Once it finally did work I was a different person, but i found it hard to keep staying as that person, I had to keep saying things that i thought they would say and I kind of felt myself transforming back into myself. I suppose it gets better with practice however like everything in lding. Cheers, and thanks for the help!

No problem at all, glad to help. Congrats on your success! Yeah, it'll just take some practice. Your mind has to get used to being someone else and this can take a bit. Now, you know it can be done, so just keep practicing and before you know it, you will be able to transform yourself at will.

Congrats!

It will indeed get better. I have once transformed using a mirror and another time i did it at will by visualization. Experiment with various techniques and find one that works the best for you, or even make one by yourself.
