Exclamation How do you transform into a wolf?

Okay, to me this feels impossible. I have no clue how to do it and it's something I am DYING to do. I love wolves and if you read my profile, I picture my spiritual self as a black wolf with glimmering silver-blue eyes. Further information about my wolf-persona is that he can travel as a gust of shadows, can turn invisible, and can fly and breathe blue fire. His claws are sharp enough to tear through metal and his fangs have a venomous bite. Goliath can also harvest electrical energy which can be used in several ways, including through his eyes in blue beams. With the energy he can also enhance his speed greatly. His howl reverberates throughout the lands and can be used to stun opponents or call allies, although he's a lone wolf. Asides from all of these rather vigorous abilities... he is a kind and gentle creature of compassion and philosophy. I would freaking flip backwards out a window with a pair of maracas and ice skates if I could learn how to do this. HELP!

One of two methods. The first is hit or miss and may not be much help. That is to realize there are no limits to what you can imagine, and the dream is your imagination made real. Two schools of though exist on dream control. The first is that you do not need to practice a certain skill, instead you just build confidence and can do anything after you get yourself convinced. I have no problem with that, but have not found it very helpful, and it sounds like hard to apply advice.
The second method is to develop powers through training. The training can take place in LDs and in waking life. In LDs start with small steps that seem to build towards your goal. Maybe you should start with simply finding a dog or wolf in your dream. That is basic summoming. Then you may work on having one appear in front of you, advanced summoning. You could try looking at your hands and just try to see long claws on your fingers. Get the idea? Training your mind to handle bigger powers. Training while awake is a long process of developing mental control and visualization skills. I teach useful skills in a DVA class, here is the link, Dream Yoga (Sivason) The material is very challenging and mind expanding, and will likely take the best students a year to get down, and decades to master, but it leads to extreamly good dream control powers, of which, advanced transformation is one of them.

@sivason: I looked at that page. It sounds like a lot of commitment and pretty time-consuming. I think for now I'll try the second idea you mentioned. Thanks much for your reply!

Hmmm... that's a tough one. I know that werewolves tend to appear in dreams as a response to pure beastial rage.

If I was to try it, I'd probably focus on a transformation. Look at the hair on my arms and focus on making it longer and thicker. Crunch my hands up so they look paw like and try to transform them, all the while growling like a wolf. Contort my body to the extreme like the werewolf transformations in movies.

Or maybe switch to a third person perspective so I don't have a human body hindering me, and then try to enter a wolf. Although switching perspective like that isn't something I've really tried to do on purpose before.

You might find Castaneda's book "The Fire from Within" helpful, as it talks about transforming into animals. It's funny, I just put that book down a couple of hours ago just as I got to the chapter titled The Shift Below, which cover just that. Although I probably wouldn't recommend starting with that particular book.

@The Cusp: I'm actually not looking to be able to transform into a werewolf, but a quadrupedal wolf. And WOAH you can change into a third-person perspective?!?! THAT'S INCREDIBLE. I live by so many limits, haha. Is there really any limit to what you can do in a dream?

Very little limit. I am not sure you can occupy two distinct prespectives at the same time and interact with your self, but most anything that could be experienced is possible.

@sivason: That's crazy. I have a lot of experimenting to do!

Oh! I remembered that in one lucid dream I had I was in front of my bathroom mirror and I was sort of experimenting with control. I made eyes appear on my stomach was able to SEE out of them. WEIRD!

I didn't try it yet, but I do love wolves. If I would like to transform into this creature you describe, at first hand I would start running as the one showed in your avatar while recalling all these feelings about it as they were mine, growling, howling and acting as I have already transformed. I wouldn't look to check if I have already transformed, it would be like distrusting about my powers, perhaps I would look at my paws if I feel confident enough about the transformation otherwise I would just move looking for my next goal.
      Hope it helps.
