      Removing Mental Blocks

For some reason, I had this mental block against the rubbing hands together for stabilization technique. I really don't know why. Maybe I thought I don't need to stabilize my dreams because of arrogance? I really don't know. I have been lucid dreaming for several years now, and never tried it. For some reason I thought it was silly, and I can't even explain why!

Anyway, recently I've been able to think more clearly due to a physical detoxification protocol I am doing for myself, and I think it's made me a little more open minded. Last night I had a very long lucid dream that don't remember too well because I didn't get a chance to scribble notes in the middle of the night.

The hands rubbing technique made my dream body feel more solid, and the dream stabilized. Every time the dream started to fade, or I felt myself losing lucidity, I would rub my hands together instead of doing an RC, because I already knew I was dreaming.

I wonder how many of us avoid trying certain techniques because of strange mental blocks. Maybe you have some negative idea about a technique that you have never tried. Now is a good time to ask yourself!

Might be woth a try, thank you for the Idea
I also never did any stabilisation because...uhh
Well, it was probably because I never thought about it, it didn't seem important and I was alway sure that the belief in the need of stabilisation is the reason for unstability.
But when you said that you also didnßt do any stabilisation before, it somehow convinced me that there might be something ... gonna try it

Engaging the senses and rubbing my hands together have always worked well for me to stabilize. I've never actually used the spinning technique because I always thought it would just cause everything to destabilize. I'll have to finally give this one a shot and see how it goes, none the less it'll be interesting. Thanks for the thought WakingNomad.

Spinning seems to be good for changing the setting or maybe as a combat tactic to rid oneself of parasites or a swarm attack.
