Hello! Sorry if I'm not posting in the right section, but I figured this would be the best area to talk about this. Lately, I've been attempting to set up a persistent dream world. So far I've actually had pretty good success, and have 5 dreams recorded in my "storyline." The idea behind my dream world is simple, and each night I focus on one goal. Safe to say, doing research on a dream world is pretty exhausting. Here were my rules I set for myself:

1.) In the dream world there is a persistent base that moves around to wherever I need it to be. (Based off of DV academy). I can put important items in this base and they will be there for them whenever I need them.

2.) I have a wolf companion that can goes on adventures with me. He can talk, and he is powerful.

3.) I have no powers except for the ability to fly. Every other power must be learned through some sort of reasonable training in a dream.

4.) If a dream seems to contradict something in a prior dream, it must be rationalized. If it cannot be rationalized, it will just be thrown out. (Example: Person says their name. In another dream they say their name is something different).

So far I've been focusing a ton on number two. In the first dream I had, I encountered a pack of wolves, who said my wolf was missing. I'm still attempting to find it (even after having 5 dreams). It's been pretty tedious work, and in my current dreams I'm searching for it with another (and less cool) talking wolf named Columbro. (How my mind thought of this name, I dunno).

The goal for my dreams is simple. I'm going to attempt to LD every night. Once I find my wolf we will find the dream base. Once we figure out the basics of how the dream base works, we will go out into my dream world in attempts to conduct research and have adventures.

Have any of you experienced LDers attempted persistent realms? If so, how did it turn out?
