Can't do anything in Lucid Dreams

      Hi guys,
I'm having trouble doing stuff in Lucid Dreams. Whenever I become lucid, I am just laying in bed, and can't do anyhing at all except stay there. It feels like it takes so much energy to do anything. What is happening and how can I get rid of this?

Have you tried taking your clothes off (removing weight) or changing the dream scene?

Your belief and expectations have power over everything in your dreams. It is your dream inside of your mind, it would be nonsense not to have control over it right? Next time when you find yourself stuck, KNOW that you can get up and do whatever you want, and then do it.

"If we doubted our fears instead of doubting our dreams, imagine how much in life we'd accomplish." ~Joel Brown
"Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are, but you are responsible for who you become." ~Darren Hardy

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

You most likely aren't having any dream control due to the situation of the dream preventing you from doing conscious actions. In order to get rid of this problem you must raise your expectation as stated from the person above. You say it seems like it's taking you alot of energy to do anything, I am going to assume that you are trying to force it to happen. In most given situations for dream control you don't have to concentrate hard enough instead all you have to do is fully realize that you know you can do anything or get out of any event when lucid dreaming. Though I understand that's easier said than done however no matter what way you look at it that is the case of how this works. I'll try a more creative way to help you, the next time you become lucid try to form out a new persona. Have much more confidence in your ability act out as if you were superman or someone who can't be stop and for a second believe you were that person in the dream. Prehaps that will strengthen your dream control by switching your thought pattern while in a dream.

      Thank you for responding everyone.

Azul: I don't sleep naked, nor have I tried to take off the clothes in the ld; maybe I will try it next time. Also, yes, I have tried changing the dream scene. In a few semi-ld's, I have. In the past, I have done things in my lucid dreams, but recently, the only thing I experience is a few seconds in my bed of not being able to do anything, then waking up.

OneUpBoy71: That is a good suggestion. I forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me.

ViIe: I'll try to do things more confidently in my next lucid dream, and expect that it will happen. That superman idea just might work. Thanks for the advice.
