      Im never satisfide with time in lucid dreams!!! They too short!! 33 lucid dreams,

      So all my lucid dreams are about 1min 30sec. I have tried all sorts of things but i never have enough time to do anything meanigfull. I always spend time trying to control dream with little success. Have tried all sorts of things to prolong lucid dream. Its like inner alarm i just wake no matter what i do 1min 30sec but everytime i except it to be longer and never think about waking. I just cant gain enough consciouness to be myself in lucid dream and gain full controll. Has anybody experienced this problem and found fix for it.

      I had the same thing for most of my lucid dreams so far. Eventually you'll have a longer one, naturally. Don't worry about it.

      Classic problem. We all have been there. What have you actually tried to make the dream longer? You say "all sorts of things", but can you be specific.

      One thing I notice is you talk about trying to control the dream. That should never be your first goal. Attempting to dive right into what you imagine LDs should be is going to shorten them. Your first step should be to pull more awareness into it and get the sensory experiences stable and intensified.

      Let me know what you have been trying already and I will respond more after that.

      Well i have tried spinning,rubbing hands together when dream fading grapping something, saying and believing i will have long lucid dream, ingoring completly time,asking help for dream character but i always end up in black space and lose dream senses and wake up. I also tried taking it chill, continuing dream story calling dream guide. And the weird thing is they all seem to be excacly equally short. Its like my brain doesnt let me lucid dream longer but i have used deild falling back to lucid dream like 7 times in one night but it just isnt same always resetting everything. I know the problem is awareness i always try pull more awareness but i just seem to be so stupid in dream that cant put enough focus into it to care. Just have to make stronger intetion to be more aware in dream but looking my hands doesnt help they look all most real only once they have look like balloon which was cool but i reacted to it very weird i just said wooah thats cool no excitment or anything and just went to sit and ate pizza in lucid dream. I just cant fully realize that im dreaming.

      Here are a few quick pointers. First forget spinning. I find that silly and can not imagine it helping.

      Rubbing your hands together will help only if you are focusing on the feeling and experience of it. It should be a slow thing not a frantic rubbing. I do not use that method myself.

      When you first get lucid spend at least 30 seconds just repeating "this is a dream" while calmly observing the image already in your field of vision. Do not try looking around yet. Next look at one hand, then try to make it do something basic, such as making a fist. Next calmly look around but slowly. Do not overload the rendering capacity of your brain by causing the sceen to change rapidly. Then start trying to do things.

      When you feel as if the dream may fade it is helpful to stop trying to do anything and reduce what is in the visual field. For instance I may stop and look at just one hand and just make a fist over and over while repeating "this is a dream." After a few moments I can continue my dream. Often the scene has changed, but that is ok.

      Thats sounds like it might work. I have never spend enough time stabalizing i just have looked my hand few seconds until they and the dream look really clear and observing dream landscape. I never really put much thought that i was in dream just knew maybe thats why i cant think clearly in my lucid dreams.
