what do you do when random ppl baet you up?

1. Does it hurt when you are getting attacked by DCs?? 2.how do you make them leave you alone, dissappear w/o killing them? I just dont want to kill anyone in dreams ok so i had my 9th ld last nite and i tried for several minutes to do the advanced TOTM for the 2nd time-i failed, and i also failed to fly several times. so while i was trying to fly into the clouds to make it snow, 2 guys came and i thought-geez i should have brought a body guard, i thought about running-but thought it was too late to do that. so 1 guy pulls out a shotgun and shot into a house then shot at me, but i blocked it and actually caught the bullet, he shot at me several times but i never got hurt. then 3 more guys joined in and they were all beating me up, and i was fighting back. so finally i thought up a deal for them to stop-and they all stopped to think it over, but one guy said no so i started pounding him till i woke up. Sometimes it felt like my punches were doing nothing and i never even felt pain, or even a blow!-maybe because i've never been a fist fight? Basically i don't want to waste my ld time having to fight ppl off from now on and this is the 1st time ppl decided to beat me up, and it was so unfair---5 against 1!

I've run into that on a few occasions. It's a tough situation, but it can be enjoyable, especially if your believe yourself a capable fighter. Even if you have been in real fights, dream fighting doesnt cause much if any pain (in my experience, anyway). Fight back, and believe you're going to win without much effort. Before you know you'll have vanquished your enemy and be on your merry way. If this sort of thing "spoils" your LDs often, you may want to go to sleep visualizing yourself as an unstoppable fighter. Hope this helps ~I have got to try giving them a hug next time I'm in a fight dream...

Wow, I'm not normally one to hug strangers or anything like that, but when I have a decent lucid I'm going to hug everyone to get the responses. Infact that's now my lucid goal: To get great responses out of DCs at any cost.

Give them a hug. I am absolutely serious. It's so true! That's what I do instead of fighting. Don't be worried that they'll throw you off of them. If you believe in yourself they wont! Actually, in a ld awhile ago, I was about to be kidnapped by this creepy looking guy. But, all you need is love right? So, I hugged him! And, he turned into this really good looking guy! I guess my hugs are powerful? Good Luck!

When I was a kid and had lucid dreams (nightmares) about attackers, I would do the same thing as recommended, I asked if they wanted to be my friend. It worked. When I was older, I ran away from the attackers. Now, I'm a martial artist, and I beat up anyone trying to attack me. It doesn't hurt, and they don't get "killed". I win. But yeah, you should go with the hugging. I'm just so violent... I tend to build up aggression, and I feel better after a lucid fight.

I just yell at them to GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! as loud as i can. They usually grumble for a few seconds then just walk away. I recently yelled, "Get Back!" and it worked. I woke up before they left completely however. Conjuring a weapon may help; I recently used a large pencil and that kept them back. If you do the hugging thing, let us know how it works, I would be interested.

Either fight them, try to side with them, or defeat the leader of the gang if there is a gang and get the others on my side. This was my most memorable ld on this topic, it turned out to be a great lucid. I wake up in the early hours of the morning and i decide to try the method that Westonci has great success with but i can't get absorbed in the thought so i give up on that. I then think that i am going to try to fall asleep consciously because the last few nights i have known when i was falling asleep but i didn't follow it because i hadn't slept yet. I focused on the blackness behind my eyelids but i can't remember if it worked. The next thing i recal is i am lucid, here is the dream. I am in sort of a mall and i don't think anyone ealse is here, i explore for a while until a man appears and starts p*****g me off and won't leave me alone so i throw him off the top floor, (that should do it) i then go to carry on with my lucid only to find that he is standing behind me! I am stunned and i throw him off again and the same thing happens, and just to make it worse another two people who are his gang members or whatever you want to call it. They are helping him battle with me so i try to summon the Terminator and lots of clones of him with not much success so i throw that guy off the top floor again and persuade the other two to come with me because that invincible guy was the leader im sure. I take them to this room and tell them to join me and get away from this thing, but they say that he would kill them. I am exoecting him to come around the corner at any time and i can see shadows (damn scary) but he never showed. Then a boy and a girl walk past and are snogging the f**k off eachother and didn't seem to see us, then the two men with me start saying things like thats the way, get in there my son which shocks me. We end up making friends with these people and going into this apartment they were about to enter to "get down to business", so we enter. There are several people on a few sofas and one of them i am sure is Bow Wow. He introduces us to his friends and we sit down, we then just chill out have a laugh for about 10 minutes. talking to my friend to is seemed to appear when we entered the room and the others. I then just take in my surroundings and take a look at everyone in the room and just think to myself that this is all created by my mind, i am thinking what we could all do but i can't think of something. I decide to bring up dreaming into conversation but as soon as i do this one boy who used to go to school with me says we have been through this before in an angry tone so i drop the subject. I see a pen and paper on the table so think how people have said it is really hard to write in lucids so i'll giv it a go. I notice straight away that as soon i put pen to paper a tip appeared on the other side aswell which i found strange. I start to write dream and it is pretty normal actually but is a little strange, i looked at this hot girl who was with her boyfriend and thought about making a move. I got up walked towards her then pretended i was doing something else because i decided i didn't want to wreck the dream (plus they seemed like nice people). Not long later the dream starts to fade so i focus on a person to try to get the visuas back which works, but shortly after it fades again and i wake up.

Turn your back to them and focus on something else. Do a complex calculus equation in your head, you will forget about that character that's attacking you. I would only hug a DC if they were good looking, but of course I don't mind killing them

If I'm Lucid, I electrocute them. It's one of the powers I can achieve with little problems. Arcs of electricity come from my hands and when I stop the target is gone. If I'm not Lucid I usually run away or fly away and spend the rest of the dream getting away from them

This happens to me a lot. It normally depends what I've been doing recently. Say I've been watching the Matrix. Bullet-time fights, super strength etc. Say I've been watching anime, lots of colored blasts and that sort of what-not.

When my DCs go postal, I usually just rip them to shreds, or die/disappear another way. In my experience, it's much harder to make a DC just vanish. Instead I make them implode, or fly away (be creative!)

Unless he comes to get you in real life ofcourse, which is 2% possible.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks LD fighting rocks. I've never been hurt in an LD fight, I've ALWAYS managed my kicks properly and I've always managed to "fly" with a flick of my foot. My issue is I'm never really aware it's all LD, so I wake up thinking I can fly and fight at the same time - LOL. I'm here to master the LD - it's a LOT more fun than what I can do in RL...

This is what I told him: " *vampire tries to attack me* woah,woah (telling him to stop) hold on a sec. First of all, I don't even believe in vampires, so good job in picking who to scare. Second of all, I know this is a dream, you can't hurt me. So f*ck off, I got more important things to do then to deal with freakin vampires. What am I, 5?" He got really pissed and left.
