I've been controlling my dreams since I was a child. Mostly because I could never get to sleep (huge imagination and lots of scary things to imagine). I started out making dreams up before I went to bed. I would usually go over the same senario for months at a time until I got bored and made up a new one. I would fall asleep and that was that. But this was helping me to control my dreams in the morning. I realized I was dreaming in the morning when I woke up. I didn't want to so I would just continue my dreams making them up as I went. I wasn't dreaming though. Eventually it became easier to go back to sleep and continue my dream I was having and being able to control parts. Then it has gotten to the point of being able to control things.
It's crazy because I usually have about 3 dreams a night. I usually only control the last one. My husband calls my dreams "nintendo dreams" because they are usually crazy and goal oriented. It's great though but I thought there was something wrong with me until I found this site. I can sleep a good 12 hours if I wanted too, but usually get myself up after 8 - 10. It is important to limit how much you spend in dream land.
My favs. are flying of course, and I've now been able to control my movements so I'm not slow and sluggish. I definately have mind power in my dreams. Becoming invisible is also fun.
I'm glad to see that I'm not crazy. Thanks!
