      Creating Light - Illuminating Areas

A long time i've faced the forums with the idea's i've read.
"Creating light, illuminating a room, is impossible"

However, I never heard if it was impossible for near everyone to create light in GENERAL (eg.: to create a light-emanating light-bulb).

Because, and to be honest, I found it EXTREMELY easy to do this: ( Ijust tested it last night because I wanted light in a dark room, so it was my first try )

In a dream I went outside. and got back into this bedroom of mine (i'll keep details saved because it isn't about ''this lucid dream'' or w/e).

The room was dark and no longer illuminated (it was at first).
      Pressing light switch? Nothing.
So I went like.. ok.. I want a light.. I raised my hand and just THOUGHT of manifestating a light there, and voila, a really really weak light appeared, the source had the shape of a flat ''map-creator'' light-bulb.

I removed it as it was too weak. Then I focussed on the sun (sun gives off a lot of light, so a mini-sun should do as well).

So I did think of a small sun, and voila, small sun appeared.
It illuminated the whole room and it's strength (in brightness) and reach were so great that I could technically use it to replace the real sun.

So here you have it, i'm not sure if anybody even TRIED this kind of technique, but if you didn't.

Try creating a light-source in your hand, Do not try to create the light itself.
      It's much easier

I'll be sure to try it! Thanks for the idea.
I would guess that it works for you, because it fits your imagination for things to work that way.
Perhaps others won't find the trick as powerful as you did, but I'll be interested to find out.

Two nights ago, I did something similar to this in a vivid dream.

I was in a hotel room, that was the set for Conan O'Brien, except it was outside at night time, and within the iron gates way a race or derby of some sorts. Then, several times angry spirits were coming along and shaking all the carts up and ejecting the drivers from their rides. Then they would leave. I decided to become one extremely bright light to get rid of the dark spirits. I did, and the entire dream scene became yellow almost white, and then it cut to the next scene.

That's it, but I'll continue with the dream since I'm about to get laid. It was happening again, and I knew that the spirits were really just angry because others cannot see them and they are ignored. So I walk out towards the commotion and ask "Hey? What's the problem?" in a caring voice. I am led over to the corner of the hotel room inside, by a spirit, even though it was also outdoors with iron gates. Then my crotch got this powerful almost burning feeling and I laid down.

The rest of the people started flooding out the two hotel doors back into the hotel hallway, while I lay in the corner. People saw me go over there, but they must have assumed I passed out. I just laid there still on my back while the spirit was slowly bouncing up and down, having sex with me. I was smiling on the inside because I was getting laid right in front of people and they were completely clueless. After a couple moments of the great relaxing sensation, I wake up and stand to find the room completely emptied.

That just sounded too funny for words... xD Sounds like an odd dream

So well, I guess you can say now that creating lights ''in objects'' is easier than just making light come out of nowhere

Re: Creating Light - Illuminating Areas

      In response to first post:

I did a series of experiments on light in dreams a while back, (my dreams used to be mostly inhibited by the constant darkness that surrounded me) I found a few ways to create light. the trick to most of them is to realize that light in dreams isn't light at all, but different shades and tints your mind is assigning to the items of your dreams. thus you don't really need a light-source at all, you just need to make everything brighter... here are some methods:

      1) hold your hand up in the direction of a light bulb, send energy to the light until it glows slightly, now hit the light-switch. there will be light

      2) jump through a dark window knowing that the window is just really darkly tinted and its actually daytime outside

      3) this one is for WILDers that often start their dreams in their beds where their dream rooms are often dark.: when you enter the LD and open your eyes and see your dark room don't move a muscle as you close your eyes and envision yourself lying down on a sunny beach/ riding in a car lounged back, now you should have a vivid picture of what it should look like in your minds eye, open your eyes and your there.

      4) just simply amp up the colors around you until it looks like the sun is shining on everything.

      5) (a more obvious one) create a light or turn the sun on so it illuminates everything

      6) spin expecting everything to be daylight when you stop

      7) see a clock in your view and watch the hands go really fast until its 12PM then open your eyes/ make the clock go away to see that your surroundings are all illuminated now.

those were all actually tested by me so i know they should work if you actually expect them too

I tried to illuminate my bedroom once. Hmm, twice. In the first time I shot a beam of light towards my bedroom. The light effect faded away after 3 seconds and everything was dark again.
In the second time I tried to directly change the light. I put a lot of effort, but all I could do was create a weak light inside my bedroom and make everything outside have a green light .

I'm sure to try your tricks, BillyBob.

hmm and if the light tricks are not working you could maybe try nightvision googles (like findinge them in a drawer or wtv)

Yeah but wouldn't that turn everything to green for you?
Because almost everywhere you look night-vision goggles are shown as ''goggles that make everything green''. lol.

Btw.: I actually ''illuminated'' the room in my dream. The sun was emitting light, and other objects and stuff reacted to it with ''shadows'' in a realistic manner. And it really was almost so dark that I couldn't see (As in real life when all the lights are off)
I guess it really was ''light'' instead of just a tint.
As like when you have the sun shining inside, you would still see a room even if it was painted black, and objects were inserted of different materials, however in the dream, I saw near-nothing. and the window that was there showed the OUTSIDE area, grass and stuff, and the sky, which was starry and also dark.

So It didn't really look like tinting to me

Lol even if everything turned green it would be better than to just leave it dark wouldn't it?

I once dreamed my entire room was almost pitch dark, though slightly blue, like underwater at the bottom of the sea. It was so quiet. I was a really tiny sea serpent, and my nose was a lightbulb.
