I had been having trouble even finding a door for a while but my last two lucids I found doors quite easily. No matter how much I believed and evisioned what was on the other side, it instead kept being "what it should be(within the setting of the dream)" IE I was in a dream that was taking place at my college, plenty of doors, but they all lead to classrooms. In my own house the doors lead to their respective rooms etc.

So basically I need another way to pretty much entirely change the dreamscape. No small feat...

Okay Leixor... I would suggest that you need a different "point of departure".. a different way of changing the dream.

Now, if you trawl through the forums you'll find umpteen suggestions for techniques to change a dream, but..

Why don't you try something different?

You sound adept at visualisation, so .. try visualising a computer and keyboard in your LD. Use some imagination to alter the dreamscape through computer commands. Try the Internet etc.

i had this problem on saturday. i imagine a huge concert going on on the other side of the door and when i opened it there where a whole bunch of vans instead. i say your next best bet would be to try and find a mirror and step through it. i've read that that works very well.
