Hi, I had an LD last night, but I had a bit of a problem.

As soon as I started rubbing my hands together to try and increase lucidity, I felt slightly awake, and then after letting go of it, I realised that I was basically awake, my eyes were nearly open and it wasn't as if I was in a proper sleep.

The LD felt more like thoughts which I was controlling whilst awake, just with my eyes closed... it felt a bit more dream-like because I could actually see the scene, but still I could sense the 'real world' on my face, and it was just as if the LD was happening behind my eyelids..

I had tried the WBTB method. Do you think I might have set my alarm to go off too late?

It is possible, but i think it is more likely that when you got Lucid, you ended up getting a bit excited, and though it wasn't enough to wake you up, it was enough to semi-jar you out of your dream state, causing you to feel the real world and the dream world at the same time.l

Yeah, well you can use this to your advantage. If ever you try wilding, you will know what this state feels like, you can use that memory to get there faster, and then slip into the dream!
