Hi i just recently had a few very very lucid dreams, the first came naturally but then i made up a technique to go lucid again, it worked 2 out of 4 times and the 2 times it didnt work was becuase it was noisy outside (party) so i couldnt sleep and the other time i just couldnt concentrate.
ANYWAY back to the technique

its called CILD which stands for Chant induced lucid dream.

i dont know if its similar to any other techniques, if it is or if its the same tell me, i havnt read much about techniques, but i invented this unknowing of any other techniques like it.

basically what you do is go to bed but make sure you are slightly tired, you know, where your eyes want to sleep, then lay in the bed on your back with your arms at your sides and legs straight out flat, then close your eyes about 5 - 10 minutes into it you should automatically start to visualise something to kick off what the dream will be about, as you fall more and more asleep the thought will become more vivid, as it does this start thinking "i am not here, i am [insert place where you want to dream in]" over and over, you should start to see this place you want to be in. if you want add in "this is a dream" but keep the first phrase repeating. now at this point, when its most vivid without me dreaming yet, i suddenly FEEL my body fall asleep literally, i feel my arms and legs unmovable and i get a tingly sensation in them and i am totally lucid and thats where i panic and wake up, but yeah, the chant in my thoughts as you are just about asleep is what kicks it off for me,
and also i can feel my eyes being shut for real (my real body, not my dream body) but since my lucid dreams are quite short i dont know if this feeling fades.
