Poor / Same Environment + another problem

I can't seem to ever get out of the same environment. I would say 90% of my LD's were from false awakenings, meaning that I almost always start in the same place. Problem is, my dorm room is bland, and I lose interest, and the dream as a result.

What happens next is absolutely crazy. I have about 50 FA's. Whenever I move so much as an inch, I FA again to the same spot. I can't even look over a little bit without FAing. I'm 100% lucid at this point, which makes me very mad that I can't stop it. I might even be too lucid at this point, because I'm completely aware that I'm dreaming, and that I will not be happy with this when I wake up. I finally call it quits and use the dream-exit technique of closing your eyes, then opening them when you wake up.

Has anyone had one or both of these problems, and have any suggestions? Maybe I just need to have confidence that the dream will last. It seems like my LDs lately have been crap because of this.

My advice would be to, as soon as you have that false awakening, teleport to a new environment as soon as you can. You can be out of that room in a couple of seconds. Or, try decorating your dorm room more to make it more interesting.
      Love is lucid.

Your false awakenings bring you back to bed? And then when you try to get out of bed, you snap back to another FA in bed?

I'm just confused if you can manage to get out of bed, or if you are trapped in your 'real' body this whole time. Are you stuck in your room, or stuck in your body?

I had about 6 or 7 FAs in one LD before...it was so very annoying. Usually in the last couple it becomes very hard to move and I get very confused of where I am even though I know Im in my room...Its kind of like taking alot of pills that would make you drowsy and your stumbling around everywhere(I've never done that but I know the feeling). I have the same problem when I fall asleep and immediatly enter a LD(Its like an unintentional WILD).

Yup, stuck in the bed. I move a little, or maybe even get up, then I FA again. Every FA ends up with me on my back. It only happens after I FA, and I have to end the dream as a result. I usually cannot get out of the bed as a result. Sometimes I can move a little before I FA again, and sometimes I can't move at all without FAing. As you could imagine, it's pretty frustrating. Could be that the dream is ending anyways, which would explain the horrible control I have during the FA's.
Doesn't happen in every LD though. Oddly enough, it never happens with WILDs, but happens with DILD false awakenings.

Looking at the posts on here, it seems like that's a huge WILD problem. Somebody told me that you need a wait a little bit before getting up if you start in your bed. Though if the dream is bombing out, not sure this would help much.

luciddream: teleport to a new environment
Will do. I'm a newb though, so that will be a bit harder.
