I wouldn’t count on the subconscious to work with anything as rational or logical as a sequence of numbers. The natural language of the subconscious is symbology. That said, it is fairly reliable in that it is highly suggestible and really seems to want to work with you, imo. |
Yeah. I believe you'd be making a mistake to expect the subconscious to keep a timer running. It seems it can plot out a plot in advance and do a lot of other really powerful things. But numbers and rational analysis is not its domain. |

For the stopwatch, I expect it would be whatever number makes sense, ither a random or important number, or gibberish if you expect it to be. If you set something up in your dream, trust your subconscious to keep it running, and go back later, I think it would have been eradicated to whatever degree other bits of the dream have to which you aren;t paying attention, then rebuilt to a later stage when you return (either fallen apart, or continuing, or built to a new level, again whatever your subconscious expects it should be). |

JET73L's dream journal
If you think about it - you put the watch in, you know it's there. As long as you know it's there, it will be there. If you forget about it, it ceases to exist. |
Instead of a stop watch, set an hour glass on a table. Go on with your normal lucid activities, then come back to the hour glass. It would be cool seeing your results from that. |
Well... since it has done many times with watchs, and many others with planets and the way they are placed on the galaxy and space... I suppose its reliable. |
