Telling DC's I'm dreaming wakes me.

Everytime I have a lucid dream and tell a dream character that I'm dreaming they usually think I'm hallucinating or crazy.

I wake up everytime when I do this, I've tried not telling them but I always find the need that I should, and do it anyway.

Our expectations have ENORMOUS power in dreams. Maybe you expect that you will feel the need to tell a DC that you are dreaming and that once you do you will wake up. See if you can change your view on these two things. Perhaps try to implant the belief that telling a DC you are dreaming will give you super lucidity instead!

Try not to say flat out "I am dreaming." That implies a thin state. Try saying "I am in a dream." This way, you imply that you will continue to be in the dream, and makes "dream" seem like a definite place as opposed to a fleeting state.

Changing your wording can make a big difference. Don't say "This is just a dream," but instead say, "Yes! I am aware within a dream!" Changing your words changes your perspective, and the perspective projected by your mind and the dreamworld.
