Okay, I've never done these, but I know what I'm talking about. |

I want to know if there is some really good tip for changing location in a dream. If I for example want to get into my school, how should I do? The obvious one is to picture the location in my mind and _expecting_ me to teleport there. But I've never actually succeeded with that :/. Maybe I need to concentrate/train more? |

Thx pinkcheese, but to be honest, I already knew like all of those :/. Exept for the flying/veichle part, I guess I can test that.. |

Verbal commands are good. A lot of your mind is sleeping, even in lucid dreams. So, yelling something out will make the link between the word and the picture and the intention. Just keep saying something like "school, school, school." Besides, why school? Do you wanna bomb it?? |
|
naturals are what we call people who did all the right things accidentally
AirRick101 thx a lot m8, I totally forgot about verbal commands! I will definatly try that in my next LD |

what ive done many times now and found out to work every single time now is to just draw out a door in the space infront of you like you cut the reality your in. I find this naturaly with my finger, and then i just open the door... the times ive done this ive met a little black gap and then a door inside that cut-out-reality-door and ive gone trough that one... and then ive comed to my location. |

i was bout mention what jammy said but wat i did for my first lucid dream i made a door appear out of no wer then i just walk through knowing wat is goin to be on the other side. like if ur in a dream and u wanna goto skoo all u gota do is make magic and let the door apear and just go rite through. it worked for me it worked for jammy it worked for other ppl on this forum. dont u think it shuld work for u? its really simple. i also believe spinning can do the trick if u want but i perfer to use the door. |
|
Jammy and louie54, thx..! It sounds really cool, I will try to make a door appear |

I suggest you make a "things to do while lucid" list if you dont already have one. Keep it in your dream journal or something. Great to note down things you want to do and that you can try out when you maybe dont have anything to do or just want to experiment. Its great inspiration to. |
|
u mean my lucid dream list 2? u can post ther also. |
|
u have a lucid list to do post here? no i meant a personally you keep by yourself, but to share with others is also a great idea |

i have the same problem. it's hard for me to imagine in detail in my dreams. for example, i can never make out the faces of people i talk to. i know who is with me, but i dont' see them clearly, and this doesn't seem strange to me in my dreams. last night i successfully did dream spinning, but woke up and can't remember what happened after that, |
|
...we barely have time to react, let alone to rehearse, and i don't think i'm any better than you, but i don't think i'm any worse...~anni
I think this is enough, to just have the feel of who was around you in the dream. To remember details in a dream depends on how much you want to know, about yourself. I usaly just note down the overall seting in a dream, if it was anything that pointet out i note this to. About details you could say that everything that is presented in a dream is created by yourself, everything from just a dust particle on the dream floor to a wrinckle in another DC's face. And if your lucid and go into every detail i bet you will discover whole new meanings you didnt pick up in the dream. But in a regular dream you remember upon awakening i think its enough to just try to remember the dream first of all... then if you want you can try hard to remember details on walls around lets say a room you was in. This is a good recall excersice to. |

For me I jsut spin around and get from one location to another saying outloud where I want to go. One day I transported one of my "dream people" to disneyland. A little boy. I shouldn't have done that though. I seem to quickly forget to stay focused and stop following meaningless storylines. |

Is it real . . . is it a dream . . . is it real . . . is it a dream
you decide
Dream Spinning has always worked for me, but when i didnt know about dream spinning, i would just to the door trick. I first tried it when i was about 11 or 12. I think since kids have more vivid imaginations then adults, they tend to be able to controll environments easier. |

be careful about dream spnning though. you can lose lucidity(well that happens to me at least) |

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
Go to sleep in your dream. When you wake up back into the dream, you will of woke up where you wanted to be. |
|
I dream spinned twice in my dream last night, once to get to Disneyland (for some kid i didn't know) and the second time so the fabric of the dream to stay together, but I quickly lost track of my environments and ended up on a subway. I woke up as the doors closed. |

A good way to go where you want is to think about where you |
|
So far I have found these waye to change the dream scenery: |
|
I tried climbing through a mirror to hopefully end up somehwere else (I wasn't thinking of a specific destination, just thinking my mind would surprise me or something |
|
I havent ever tried spinning, i usually just expect something (want something) to appear, and then walk around a corner or open a door, and its there. of course, sometimes it doesnt appear as expected |
