Thread: Different powers to try?

hey maybe imagine different dc's have different powers and go on absorbing all of them? Maybe then you can get a pretty cool set of powers easily. Then spawn an army of yours and have them fight the infinite army youre facing?

Since you are new to this, dont try to force control at once, or your dream will fade quickly, it will feel unrealistic. Try passive control

Example of force control: You are super strong because you want to.
Example of passive control: You got bitten by a magical snake that makes you super strong.

Try having an epic battle with sephiroth from final fantasy or sumthin. I always pictured that to be pretty cool.

Yes. You could try reading peoples minds like Matt 'PARKMAN' from NBCs TV show, Heroes. Sorry - I can't help being a panickity twat.

I haven't had a Lucid dream yet, but being a big fan of Heroes has given me a lot of dream targets to achieve when I do have one. I want to try all of the abilities in Heroes: shooting flames from my hands, shooting electricity from my hands, telekinesis, super strenght, space-time manipulation, freezing, and not to mention flying.

All I have to say is: Portal Gun.

Not exactly conventional, or strictly a power, but so much fun. Especially in those low level LD's where doing too many crazy things is harder than it's worth.

I use this when I want to free-fall, what with being afraid of heights and all.

Also, spontaneously combustion is fun to play with. Although, the last DC I tried to do that to (because he was being a dick) reversed it on me somehow. I managed to stop it, but it felt really weird.

by the way, if you have issues shooting fire/lightning and so on out of your hands, (say you prepare to blast something and it doesn't work) just tell a DC to go fetch you some magic whether it's in the form of dust or a syringe or whatever and use it. helps for me when i find myself incapable of using special powers or summoning items.

How do you guys keep your dreams stable when using these crazy powers?

I'm pretty new to LD and so far all I've been able to do is breathe fire lol. If I try to fly or use telekinesis I have to focus too much and end up losing lucidity.

Summoning a portal to enter your own personal "realm" sounds nice
And of course, all the goodies, such as flying, super strength, telekinesis etc.

I'd really like to try slow motion so I can do badass Matrix stuff

The other night, I somehow created what can only be described as a Halo 3 Killball. I was trying to make an energy bolt, and was doing a pretty good job of it, until the point where I "shot" it at a DC who had been attacking me. It kinda just trudged along, moving forward at odd spurts, before it stopped right in front of him. With a force of will I made the small orangey glowing ball expand rapidly. It enveloped the DC, and vaporized him almost instantly. It didn't dissipate afterward, and I got the feeling that if I touched it I would die too.

Anyways, this was a cool find and seems like something that would be fun to replicate and mess with. Maybe use some telekinesis and throw it into some DCs. . . I don't know, just something I felt like sharing.

Somebody was trying to run me over in a car once, so I tried to blow it up by snapping my fingers. Nothing happened. Then I imagined a small ball of fire in the middle of the car and tried it again. This time, it shot up in the air and flames flew out the windows.

what about making puppets out of your opponents. i have yet to try that.

Telekenesis is really fun, thats one of the powers for some reason i already knew when i had my first LD

try turning your finger counter clockwise for me it reverses what happens etc an object falls and you rotate your figner counter clockwise it magicly flys back to its position.

My next LD i'll try summoning some DC's and ask them questions.

I had a dream where i was a jedi and at the begining iwas taking things out force pushing them and throwing my lightsaber and it coming back but then when i was kinda lucid i tried to fight a sith so i force pushed him and i kinda saw a ripple in the ir as it traveled but when it hit him nothing happened so i tried to throw something and it wiggled.So i focus really hard till my head hurt(not IRL)and it moved very slow and i missed but it moved.

I wonder why this happens
