      Pityful!

Last night I had a great Lucid Dream where I got lucid on the bathroom. However I couldn't open the door. The doorhandle was suddenly like soft rubber and didn't work. I tried to wish the door away, but couldn't - so i had to roughen up and kicked in the door! Sorry...

Then as i came out I was by a pool, decided that i wanted to be invisible, and I came up with the idea, that if I took a stick in my mouth it would make me invisible. I took the nearest stick, but it didn't work - I could hear (and see) 2 girls at the poolbar laughing at my ridicoulos experiment.

G'damn I'm really pityful at taking control of my dreams!

You should have look for the invisible ring under the rock...Why a stick?

It seem like the door did not like you but you did not need to kill it, I love that door. Whatever you don't want to happen and thinking that it will happen will most likely make it happen, that also work the other way around. The door won't open and the invisible thing did not work so that two signs that you are thinking negatively in that dream.
Noticed things in my lucid dreams: Not scare of death (kinda forgotten Freddy special power of killing in dreams, opps?) Huge ego which cause me to summon monsters, most DC are useless and don't even speak.

I think you're right - I guess I'm still not really confident in the dream-environment. It seems that I just can't get used to the idea, that anything is possible - but I can fly without any major problems, strange...

Sorry about that door, I will make it up to you ; ) I'll meet you in a dream and give you and your beaten up doorfriend a beer (Two men and a door were sitting at the bar...)

      Where the punchline?

How often do you fly? Maybe you master that skill by now?

I have only had 6 LD's so far and in all off them I have had the intention of flying, but only one of them were situated outside - in that dream I just willed myself upwards - and I just flew up like in a videogame. I was able to control myself and even howered over the ground watching the beautiful scenery. I've read numerous threads about the difficulty of flying in dreams, so I was surprised to see that I could do it first time I got the chance.

Punchline, ahem... can't think of one

I only have three lucid. I try on the first one and fail while the other two I flew.

Anyway back to your problem, if you can fly like a video game that easily then I guessing you a gamer? Maybe using a spell or a cheat code will work next time. I hear that a few use "tools" to help them in the dreams, one example I seen recently is a numberpad on your arm which let you type numbers to "save" that area and when you get into trouble you can retype the numbers to "load" you back. The same thing can be use for cheats.

Thank you for your feedback. You're right I'm a gamer. So thinking of my dreams as games might be a good idea. I have been so much into how to HAVE a LD that I didn't get to the "WHAT to do" part yet. You have giving me some useful information toough. Thanks.

@Shokoman: Keep at it - and they will come...
