Thread: Cartoons?

I've had a picnic with the simpsons in a forest once. It was lucid, but the simpsons were unintentional.

I had one dream with normal environment and some animated characters, it was great, they blended so well, you couldn't tell if it was 2D or 3D animation (it looked hand-drawn though).

...There is a huge glass window like we are in some sort of penthouse. There are some people to the left but I don’t remember if they were just standing there or if anything else happened with them.
Now I am standing in a forest, and there are a bunch of people there in a cartoon style. This doesn’t phase me, although it’s the first time I remember such a thing happening since I was about five. Apparently, I’ve been rescued by a bunch of teenage superheroes who are the young versions of popular superheroes. They introduce themselves before running off one at a time. They’re all mismatched, with a girl wearing the superman costume and the races and sex of each not matching up, on top of having related but incorrect names for themselves.
Before they all leave, a couple come over to me and touch my skin. It goes into a 3rd person view and it shows the two superheroes saying that “his skin is cold” (I’m still the black dude). The skin definitely looks kind of weird, almost metallicy like RDJr gave me some sort of metallic power. The rest of the teens run off into the woods.
The view is back to the first person, and things are realistic...

So yea like it says, happened when I was young, then in that dream a few weeks ago. So it's not impossible, but it's rare I guess.

***oh, I see stuff in kind of 3d cartoon style quite a bit, but sort of 2d overlaid on other things is much more rare.

I've never intentionally put characters into my dream, but once I had a dream and various characters from "Sitting Ducks", "Pecola", and "Miss BG" were in my dreams. They were life size 3D cartoon characters. I'm sure this is because I sat in front of the TV for a few hours watching Qubo before turning in. As a result I dreamt about them.

Same here, however I have had cartoon characters in my dreams, and have once been an cartoon character. Only once was the entire dream animated, but I was on the brink of waking up so it didn't last very long.

I saw the simpsons in my dreams once, they weren't really 2D, more like a cel-shaded 3D animation sorta thing. we were on vacation...

once after dream spining i ended up in a kim possible cartoon (dont like the show much) it was very unstable and confusing being in a cartoon so i dream spun again and got out.
