      Relieving distorted vision

      Hello, friends.
I know it has been a mighty long while since I last posted, but I have another question.

Recently, in my dreams, my vision has become shaky, blurred, and fast-paced (as if someone is quickly shaking my head from left to right). However, this distortion only occurs when I am “vanquishing enemies” or when I am around a large group of people, like … “eating at a barbeque.” On the other hand, when I am observing nature from a rooftop, balcony, or tree branch, my vision is still, paused, serene, and clear—pure beauty.

What does this mean and how can I regain control over my vision when the drama/excitement kicks in?

So far, I have tried spinning, but my attempts at this have only made the shaking worse or have aided in a levitation of some sorts that result in my dreams being rewound like a video tape. Moreover, that chaos lasts for a couple minutes (less than two) and then stops…buuuut when the chaos stops, everything moves in slow-motion and then returns to normal.

In the meantime, I am going to practice pacing myself and calming down, telling myself to calm down and that it’s all a dream.

      Thanks; good night,
      SoyReeds

Well, I think this probably means that you feel out of control in your dream? I could be wrong.

I used to have the problem where I would get stuck in my dreams. It would be like I couldn't move even if I was in a lucid dream. It would be like I would be stuck there while there was somewhere just beyond this door, but I couldn't reach out my hand to open the door, etc. The way I got beyond that point was recording my dreams every morning and before sleeping repeating a mantra that said it wouldn't happen to me as I fell asleep. It hasn't happened in a very very long time.

      Good luck!

Mmmm...well, not too out of control--I just have trouble seeing when I'm around a lot of people or when excitement or danger arises. This time, my mantra is about self-control and calmness to slow things down a little bit. Thank you!

shout out lucidityX1000. It makes everything clearer for me, and delays waking up.
