Thread: teleportation advice.

Were you lucid in this dream? If not, then becoming lucid is an excellent place to start. If you were, then here are some suggestions, in addition to the method you used (ask a dream character).

Spin around in circles like you're trying to get dizzy. As you do this, imagine the new scene you want to appear in.

Find a door, and imagine that your destination is on the other side. Open the door, and it'll be there. If it's not, try again; make sure you're expecting it to be there. You can also do this by walking through mirrors, walls, televisions, pretty much anything.

Find a teleportation machine and use it.

Eat a magical (insert food/object here). Now you can teleport!

You could always fly there.

There are tons of other ways too; the only thing limiting you is your imagination. The most important thing to remember is that you have to expect that what you're trying to do will work. Good luck! =)

One time while I was lucid, there was some large object a distance aways, I think it was a big area lamp or something. Anyway, instead of attempting to fly to it, I just imagined it large and in front of my face, and voila, I was right next to it. Just try to imagine what you want to be looking at in your destination, imagine the perspective.

Awesome. I never thought of that. Btw, I love that show. I'm trying to get all the episodes on DVD.

I've used music to teleport me. I wanted to go to Mongolia one time and when I tried out of the blue it didn't work, but later Mongolian folk music started playing and it sent me there.

When i last long enough to attempt to teleport, i would stand behind a door, put my hand on the handle, close my eyes and start thinking of the area i want to go. Build the area in my mind.. not to fast but not so it takes for ever, then when i open the door believe that the place i just imagined will be there. Open the and hope for it to be there.
