Surprisingly, my longest (which was a S**-**) LD lasted 12 hours(that is how long I slept) , but then I couldn't sleep the next night ! If you are talking about just a LD (not a S**-**), I would have to say my longest one was I think almost 9 hours

I find that i have longer LDs if they r not intential.
If i'm going 2 sleep & really planning & trying hard for an LD i'll have a short one.
If i'm sleeping & suddenly just out of the blue realize it's an LD i will usually stay in it for about 20 min.
I'm guessing 2 much excitment in the planned ones that come true wake me up. so maybe i should train myself 2 stay calm huh?

Write that on the 2 do list...

My longest LD has been around 20 minutes. I just couldn't remember all of it, but it was the best LD so far. I'd like to see longer LD's, because most of them are very short, around 1-3 minutes.
It would be so cool to stop time for a month or so, there just would be just some problems remembering it.

My longest lucid dream is about 20-30 min. I average 5-10 min usually before i kinda trail off and let go. Anyways just thought i'd mention that although your guys LD's seemed to be multiple hours in dream it is pretty unlikely that you had one that lasts longer the 90 min since R.E.M. sleep does not. I could be totally wrong though and hope i am because i would love to have one that felt like a full day.

ok, when you guys are saying 1 month, does it actually feel like a month? i know in reality, it like an hour but are you saying that in you ld's, you feel as if you lived every minute for a month in a ld? cuase i've had dreams before that lasted "the whole day" but really it only felt like it was 15 mins. it just kinda jumped time. like it started in midmorning, then went ot a little later, then afternoon and finally ended with night.

p.s. sorry if i already posted this a while ago. i don't think i did but kinda had deja vu as i was typing lol
and when he gets to heaven, to saint peter he will tell. "one more soldier reporting sir. i've served my time in hell"

Mine have lasted around 30min. Usually, though a lot of my lucids are like "Hey, I'm dreaming! Lets see what powers I can wield!" and then I get distracted. In a non-lucid I have lived out about a week in dream time. That one involved a friend from China whose family lived on top of a waterslide. It turns out this "friend" was trying to kill me. It was pretty weird, let me tell you that.

the longest I had was about 2 days, also everyone is wondering how to prolong lucidity, well here’s what I do:

first of all I cant prolong anything unless it was a successful WILD that got me into the LD, then when i find that iv WILDed i have to remember to stay VERY, VERY, CALM, this means no lucid sex and no walking around in very dark places, also no flying unless flying is calming for you, thus I recommend you do this after you’ve had your fun. also you should remember to always be thinking that you have plenty of time and to stay completely lucid, (often take time to observe items that are laying around or the walls, do things like look for differences at your house (since this was a WILD induced LD you most likely will be at your home) doing these things will dramatically increase lucidity and dream length
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

The longest I have stayed lucid was maybe for about ten minutes. I talked to a couple dreamguides sitting at desks, wandered around a dark room walking through a steel grate, and later tried to recall my conversations. However, that dream was unusual, and in my other dreams I range from being lucid for a few seconds to about a minute.

When I dream I always notice that my mind is trying to compress time but it can never fool me. For example, when I walk through a set of double doors I rarely remember physically opening them: I just appear on the other side. When I am walking to a distant building I just appear there -- I have the sensation that I had walked all that way, but if I really recall carefully, I realize that I actually kind of teleported. Last night I had an LD where I shook Freddy Kruger's hand ( I don't like the guy, I just didn't want him to get mad and hurt me. I always treat threatening DCs that way and it always seems to work!) but when I carefully recalled the dream I discovered that I don't remember what it was actually like to shake his hand, but I just got the idea that I shook it. So I think that month-long LDs use a mechanism like this, except other people's subconsciousses are more skilled than mine at deceiving them. Although I might be wrong about this...

I always feel as if I am about to run out of time so I quickly lose lucidity. I am trying to work on this; I will take the above advice!

my latest lucid dream that was a few days ago felt like it lasted 20 minutes, well that was my goal, to last as long as i could... my other lucid lasted like 2 minutes or 5 but this one i was training to last longer... It deppends on how excited am I, if i do something too exciting I wake up... im new at this..
