Dreams are real until I'm fully awake?

My dreams have been recently, gotten to the point where I confuse them with reality until I'm awake. They are very real and when I wake up in the middle of the night numerous times I still believe that they actually happened. I get over it though throughout the day, but this only happens at night.

I get that all the time. I don't think it's a bad thing - in fact I think it's probably progress of some kind that you're experiencing some kind of integration between your conscious and unconscious mind. Or perhaps your rational and emotional mind. Or something like that.

I think dreams are more than just flat imagery. They are real experiences and if we can let them affect us we can be more open to how real life experiences affect us. Especially regarding relationships, where dream characters can affect us often more than people we meet in the real world. Yesterday a "nice" feeling I had in an intimate dream kept me feeling good all day!

Yes, a good thing, especially if you are interested in studying dreams.

this has helped, I'd like to find out if dreams actually have any connection with my real life so i'll have to study it more on my down time.
