Hey, i'm a little curious again, i was just thinking, i have these interpretations in my mind of what my next lucid dream will be like, fully controllable, i have an almost full layout of what i want to do, but i have a question, are fully controllable dreams as good as people say? I've only experienced one at a low level of lucidity so i'm a noob to it, i just can't see the lucid dream being like my visualisation, this is probably because i have not experienced one before but i'm curious to the realism, how real is it? do you ever lose the excitement because you know it a fictional story you have made, i want to be in the story without knowing i'm in control of what happens in the dream, i want it to be so convincing that i think its real life, but that would defeat the object of a lucid dream, but if you understand what i'm saying, its a bit like knowing what present your getting for your birthday, its better to not know that know in some cases. I'm just completely new to my lucid dreams and unfortunately not had as much luck as some of you guys on here when it comes to actually having them, i'm excited but not sure what to expect i suppose, thanks if you can answer any of my questions of break things down for me, sorry if all of the above is jibberish to you, i just type what i think!

If you have a proper one it's not good.
      It's AMAZING.
so amazing youll probably get overexited and wake up, so make sure you spin round or rub your hands.
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

lol, i'll keep that in mind, but whats the experience like? for example say i was at a beach, if i put my hand into the sea would i feel the cool sea and feel the water makingmy hands get wet? its these little sensory things which i'd like to experience with my next controllable lucid dream

After Years (note: years) it can easily get old. Thats why i'm a fan of semi-lucids. But, full lucidity is generally the best first step. Just worry about that.

EDIT: Your brian recives data as if it were coming from your senses and therefore you feel and see things as if you were actually seeing and feeling them.
