Thread: Continued dream...

This is strange but it happens sometimes to me that I am having a dream, wake up and am fully concious and then go back to sleep and my same dream continues. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a study or special term for such behavior?

My Dream (4/2/05): I am looking at myself (out of body... sorta floating above watching). I am seated like in a classroom setting with other students only there is no classroom, only a grid of chairs. I remember we are all taking turns talking, about what I cannot remember but I think it had something to do with beliefs (possibly religious or ethical). I woke up at this point and looked around, I can remember it was like 2:10pm. I noted what I could remember and went back to sleep.

Then the same dream continued. I remember a teacher or professor like figuer now entering the dream, this is now not out of body but first person, like i am watching the teacher from the point of view of the students. I dont remember much about what he did or said. I mainly just remembering he was male and was standing and seemed out of focus. I remember the emotions I felt, which were that he was the authority and I was a pupil or student.
