Thread: Need help and opinions on interpretation of dream!

Hi I've recently joined the forums,
I'll try to keep this short but I've had a dream yesterday which I find quite significant but unsure about. I know this dream might sound silly but please give me some help if possible, thank you lots.

A little intro about myself (relevant):
I am a boy in the last year of highschool, going to university overseas next year, however the feeling of going to an overseas country for Uni(which I've lived there as a child but moved away for highschool) never troubled me.

Dream:
Recently, I dreamed about going to school, however I went without any belongings, such as wallet, phone or backpack. I took a bus to the town, which I would need to take another bus back home.
E.g.
School --> Town --> Home

However, as I was in town, Of course I had no money or possessions to take the bus from town back home, so I got off the bus and wandered the town aimlessly in search for help, however, this town was suppose to be familiar to me, yet I was unfamiliar of it, its hard to describe, but its almost as if it had all the significant structuring of the town I'm familiar with, except put in a way I didn't recongize. I then see a friend and try to talk to him to get help from, however, I couldn't speak, it was as if i had a very bad case of a sore throat where you can only utter the words very quietly and slowly, and eventually he ignored me and continued walking.

Then I entered a building nearby (the insides I've never seen before) because it started to rain, and tried to use the public phones to reach my home number, but because I had no money, I talked to the operator to try and get him to give me a free call home, he agreed, but strangely, but no matter what I did, I could not contact or reach home.

The final part of this dream is that a girl that was a bit older than me (around 3 - 5 years) took me into her house, and in the whole dream she (and her family members) are the only ones who I could talk properly with. (I did not recognize this girl, nor the members in her family, the insides of her house are also unfamiliar to me). She gives me hospitality and lends me a phone to contact my home. However, no matter how many times I tried to dial my home phone number, I would always dial it incorrectly strangely, and once again, no matter how many times I dialed the number, I could not contact or reach home. The dream then ends as some one knocks on the door, and it was one of my closer aunts, but ultimately I still wasn't able to reach home.

Sorry if this is lengthy, but something funny tells me this dream was significant even thought it was very weird, advice and help on what this means would be nice! Thanks in advance
