To Dream of Negative Thigns in a Positive Way...

For any of you with good ideas regarding dream interpretation: I was told once that it's not necessarily what you dream about that is particularly significant, but it's how you feel about it. Lately, I've been dreaming of things that symbolize very negative things, but I feel quite good in the dream. For example, I dreamt last night that I made friends with a hermit crab. Hermit crabs in dreams are supposedly a symbol of sadness, loneliness, and unfaithfulness from friends, however I felt no sadness or loneliness, and this hermit crab and I formed a very special friendship within the dream. Any ideas of what this could mean? I have my own ideas but I'd like to hear from different perspectives

So little there to go on - it would be very helpful if you could give some more details about the dream and yourself, and in particular anything you're going through now that might have bearing on it. Have you maybe befriended someone who's hermitish or crabby? Or it could represent making peace with a hermitish or crabby part of yourself..
