      Snake Changing colors

I had a dream I could psychically communicate with a snake, and by thinking of a color the snake would change that color. It was a large python and all of his scales would turn orange when I thought of orange, red when I thought of red, etc. etc.

Then I made it orange and gave it a blue stripe down the middle.

      Any thoughts.

Snakes are seen in some Mythological References as being symbols for Immortality -- Eternal Life. So I was not surprised that you snake had come back to life.

To the Higher Spirituality, snakes pick up an added significance. Snakes become the representative figures for the physical life. So we have scenarios where Lucifer takes the form of a Snake -- to represent the Life apart from Divinity, the Individual Life as oppposed to the Collective Life of All Things.

Even in modern Iconography we have the appearance of The Snake. in 1830 Our Lady of Grace appeared to one Catherine "Zoe" Labore and gave her a vision which she was told to have cast as a medal. It showed Our Lady of Grace standing upon the upper half of a Globe standing upon a Snake. This was to perhaps show Eve's eventual victory over her nemesis the Serpeant. But it may also indicate that at the basis of Spiritual Life there must first be a Mastering of the Physical Life -- but perhaps a Mastering that does not necessarily annihilate or weaken what it manages to subdue, but only renders it trackable to management and control.

In this sense we have practices such as 'Kundalini Yoga', where 'kundalini' means Serpent Power. The Kundalini is seen as a Snake that ascends up the spine. This Serpeant power, if confined to the lower Chakras of the body, would certainly add to a kind of vigorous vitality, but it would not be very spiritually inclined. But if this same Serpeant Energy is taken up into and above the Head it becomes an actual physical power that is transmuted into a Spiritual Energy.

As for your dream in particular. Your choice of colors was inspired. As in the real Kundalini Yoga Practice -- along with the Central Channel for the Kundalini, there are two lesser channels that should be held in some balance -- the Hot and the Cold. Your Orange is the Hot channel, and the Blue is the cool channel. This shows you somewhat in balance. About being able to change the colors of the Snake -- this indicates that you have, or will have, the ability to move your Kundalini Energy up and down the Spectrum. Remember, the colors rise from the hot shades up toward the cooler bluer end of rainbow.
