Numbers or stepping stones. not keeping up

When i was very young. probably around 4 or 5 i woke up around 11pm(within 15 minutes) every night, screaming and crying, for months. Its extremely hard to explain. first example: Imagine 2 seperate numbers of the same number. They are both counting upward one at a time (21-21)(22-22)and so on. But imagine the number on the right (23-23) is counting faster then the one on the left = (24-25) (25-27) (26-29). next thing you know the numbers like this=(100-10000) And you get extreme anxiety from this. second example: Imagine a single stepping stone in front of you. As you move your foot onto the stepping stone another one "appears". 10 steps later everything is fine when, BLAM! 2 stepping stones appear every time you step onto one. Its almost a feeling like you cant catch up. Next thing you know theres thousands of stones and you feel its impossible to catch up. Ive wondered about this dream for years and i remember it almost 1-2 a month and go on a search to find the meaning but ive never thought to ask other people, instead i always read dream books but there was never anything relevant. I was born with the middle name orion and the name was taken from the constellation and the song orion by metallica. Ive felt an odd conection to orion my entire life and often found myself looking to the stars in my times of need. My family is mainly christian, but i never believed in "one god". I believe that there are many, and i believe the followers of monotheistic religions are not mislead, they are exactly where they should be. I believe that different cultures have recognized the many vibrations of the universe, and simplified them into "gods". Each culture forming their "religion" around what seems right and appropriate to them. I still have yet to find my clarity in this matter, as it is impossible to find the truth. You only able to feel whats right. I believe this dream has great significance to my future. Ive seen many sights some would call impossible(no ufo's yet), but all the same. I believe we all have the power to shape the world, galaxy, and universe. And the first step is recognizing it. well thats a little about me.. please help me find clarity in this matter.

These both sound like anxiety dreams to me. The 1st one seems to represent a digital clock or counter. The minutes would be going a lot faster than hours. The 2nd one seems to represent anxiety over losing your direction in life or not being able to keep up with where you think you're supposed to be. By any chance do you suffer from compulsions? These sound to me like dreams of someone who is very anxious about 'time getting away from me' and 'losing my direction' or 'not being able to keep up'.
