Nightmare Invovling The Woman I Love In Real Life.

I wrote this dream down as soon as I woke up, so I know it's accurate. The real-life back story behind the dream is this; Jess is a woman I love in real life. She is also dating a man, in real life, named Chris. Chris and I don't get along with each other because Chris knows I love Jess. One night when me, Chris, and Jess hung out we almost got in to a fight. My dream might have something to do with that night however, that was over 4 months ago.

Just in case you forget -

Jess = The girl I love in real life.

Chris = Her boyfriend who hates me in real life.

      The dream:

Chris and I decided to end the animosity between us by way of a wresting match in a high school gymnasium during a charity wrestling event - wresting as in the Olympic style, not WWE or what you see on TV. However, the match was unfair because Chris is a full 80 pounds heavier than me and so Lindsey, being the competitive/confident type, decided to challenge me instead - assuming she could easily beat me and I accepted her challenge to get some alone time with her. I played with Lindsey the entire wrestling match, pretending to pin her than stopping it at the last moment - I easily defeated her.

After beating her during the wrestling match, we went back to her apartment/college dorm-like location. Her friends were all squeezed in the room (there were about 15 of them) and we were all talking amongst each other. We got on the topic of the wresting match and I casually mentioned that high school wrestling leagues are unisex (true in real life). This comment sparked anger amongst some of the women in the room and one of Jess' friends snapped at me and told me to leave. Chris mentioned to me not forget my wine-bottle-cork which was still attached to a complex cork-screw/wine-bottle-opener along with several other corks. I took my cork off of the cork-screw and left.

A little while later as I was walking back to my house alone, I saw Jess and her large group of her friends walking down the street altogether - the same 15 people from the her dorm/apartment. I yelled out into the group "Chris you fat fuck" and continued to call Chris fat hoping to get a response. All of a sudden, Chris ran from the group and up a street. I chased him and we stopped beside a mailbox, I was feeling strong and ready to fight. However, when Chris stopped, I realized I had been tricked. It wasn't Chris waiting at the mail box, I was some random person pretending to be Chris in order to deceive me and lead me astray from the rest of the group.

I then continued my walk back to my home and this is where the nightmare really gets scary. I ran into my living room and tried to warn my father, (who was sitting in the living room entranced in the TV) of an impending attack - I knew Jess' friends wanted to kill me. I tried yelling at him as hard as I could but every time I tried yelling, time slowed down and my words come out in slow motion rendering my speech indistinguishable. Entranced in the TV, my father ignored me at first but finally tried calling the police. He took too long to get through to the police and Lindsy's friends began crashing through the windows and invading the house. I ran upstairs because I knew I would have more time and my mother was on the second floor of our house. From the second floor, my mother guarded a window. Every time one of Jess' friends tried breaking in she pushed them out onto the ground. I helped her as much as I could but we were overrun and that was when I woke up.

If you want this dream interpreted I would say that it sounds like even if you weren't thinking about it maybe on a subconscious level you were thinking about the night you mentioned earlier or about the relationship between the three of you in general thus influencing your dreams. And although these definitions never really pertain to me here's the definition of fighting in a dream.

      Fighting
To dream that you are in a fight indicates inner turmoil. Some aspect of yourself is in conflict with another aspect of yourself. Perhaps an unresolved or unacknowledged part is fighting for its right to be heard. It may also parallel a fight or struggle that you are going through in your waking life. If you are fighting to the death, then it refers to your refusal to acknowledge some waking conflict or inner turmoil. You are unwilling to change your old attitudes and habits.
To see others fighting in your dream suggests that you are unwilling to acknowledge your own problems and turmoil. You are not taking any responsibility or initiative in trying to resolve issues in your waking life.

Thanks, I do want my dream interpreted. Jess' friends and boyfriends scare me a bit. They're extremely narcissistic and reckless.

Alright well the best answer I could give on a level of analysis is that maybe the day of that dream you at some point were thinking of Jess and/or her friends and boyfriend. And if you thought of her friends/boyfriend than you thought about the hate that they harbor towards you and this all materialized into the dream you had. After that though the rest of the details seem to have a degree of randomness so your brain could have just filled those in with the already pre-existing thoughts that I mentioned earlier.
