Any ideas on this semi-lucid dream?

Hello lovelies! So I haven't attempted to lucid dream in years. I tried a while ago and was successful 2/3 times and unfortunately forgot about it. Last week I had a dream and for the most part I felt like it was very lucid. Besides that I was wondering if anyone can analyze my dream or help me in deciphering it. It is one of the few dreams I have had in my life that was so vivid and it has me thinking about it a week later so I think it must be important. So in my dream I was searching for a friend ( who I have contacted and shared my dream with) who moved to another city recently. I went to the town she lives in, real name of the city and all, and was asking around for her. Most of the people I encountered were seniors so not sure if that is significant. okay, so the part I really remember is i start to cross a bridge over water and it is day time. I begin to cross back over again but now it has started to get dark. I reach the middle of the bridge and there are no railings and the water is almost laying on top of the water. So this is the most lucid part for me. I am somewhat fearful and begin to crawl on my knees across the part of the bridge with no railings because I feel safer. This bridge was somewhat reminiscent of playground bridges because after the bridge I get to a solid fort-like part. As I approach this "fort" everything goes dark and I realize I have stuff in my eyes but use the bridge and my hands to guide me until I get to where I can stand. as soon as I pull my self up I realize the stuff in my eyes was a bunch of black widow spiders and I see an army of them crawling around the fort. They werent following me or trying to attack me besides when I was crawling on the bridge with no rails. Shortly after I reach solid ground and remember looking in a mirror and seeing a circle bite on my cheek. In my dream I felt like it was me but I dont remember looking at myself in my eyes or the rest of my face. SO thats about the majority of the dream that I remember. Im sure the parrt where I decided to crawl across the bridge on my knees was lucid. Any ideas? I do have somewhat of a fear of spiders or insects so that may help. Thank you all in advance for your replies. I've done a little research on what this can mean and would like to know what lucid dreamers think. I know they say each dream can be analyzed only by the dreamer and dream dictionaries aren't accurate but im stumped. I am going to start to try to lucid dream again by the techniques given on this site. Wishing everyone wonderful dreams!

      Hi bonbon,

Well I'm not very good with dream interpretation but I'll give it a go.

Has anything been bothering you lately or at the time you had this dream? Perhaps the part where you were searching for your friend could also symbolize you looking or chasing after something in real life. Maybe a dream or a passion you're trying to achieve. I'm pretty sure water plays a big role in this dream, as it does with most dreams. Rivers and the bridge seem to me like something you're trying to overcome, and at one point you started to struggle and got scared which could have something to do with you struggling with your decisions and maybe some part of you not really sure about them. Plus the spiders are probably invoked because of the prior fear, and the more you got scared, the more your mind generated scary things.

Wellpppp, that's my two cents. x) I'm sorry if it isn't much help. good luck!

      Moved to Dream Interpretation

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I personally believe that interpreting dreams doesn't always make sense. For instance in this case. You're dream is just a mixture of your thoughts. Pictures of the past. You would have to write more about you, to allow people to understand your thinking and hence your dream.
To me this dream is neither Lucid nor "semi-lucid". Because at no point you wrote that your were conscious of your dreaming. It was just a dream that felt very alive. Write your next dreams down, and look for patterns which might repeat during your dreams.
