Please help me interpret why I always dream about Sea and swimming

Each and every dream contains a beach ...or I am swimming in the sea. Typically each dream involves the sea to sweep me offshore ...or I fall in the sea ..keep swimming. Nothing abnormal about the sea..its calm ...but often ..the sea engulfs the beach ...and I have nowhere to go.... I am always scared Any suggestions welcome ? Is this considered my dream sign ? Sea ? or swimming ? .. JP

Water in any form, is love. Dealing with love, how we love, if we even feel loved (for instance, a complete absence of water, such as dreaming of a desert, might say you don't feel loved at all). Dreaming of an ocean, and swimming in it, you said the water is calm, that might represent a stable relationship you're in or that you want. You feel scared though. That focuses on how you're dealing with the calm relationship. Waiting for it to go bad because you've been hurt before, even though there is no sign that it should? The sea engulfs the beach. Is this person possessive/over protective of you? Could also be the love of an overbearing parent who made you afraid of ever loving because they scared you with their attempts to never let you get hurt. Either way, you're mind is working through the problem by dreaming of this over and over again. You're going to find the balance. Just give it time.

I think it just represents you swimming in the ocean of life. Typically the waves of life sweep you off your feet, or you fall but keep afloat and moving forward. Nothing unusual. It's always calm. But often life engulfs you, and you have nowhere to go. This always scares you. So it may be about fear. Not love. So it's about you being a bit out of control, I reckon, and slightly overwhlemed by life therefore.
