ipads dream - come give your interpretation

i had a dream last night and everyone i know was in it. we all went on a trip and we stayed at this nice hotel. when we arrived at the hotel a man in a suit told us that there were about 10 ipads to give away outside our rooms. so i rushed to my room expecting to get an ipad but when i got there all the ipads had stickers with other people's names on them (also the spelling was really bad). the people that didnt get ipads got two ipod touches and some only got shuffles - but everyone got something apple. in the end i found my gift and it was some weighing scales that looked like they were made of gold but when i picked them up they were plastic. My interpretation is that this is about relationships, i think what i have - a friends with benefits situation - is good (gold) but is probably fake (plastic) and everyone else has the apple premium product that lasts long and is reliable. Any other interpretations are welcome or even expansions on what i think it may be about! please help! Thanks guys

This is what I got out of it. But I may be wrong in any way. See if any of this clicks. Maybe, in a rush, you expected to get connected or see all the people you know, in life, but maybe you don't see others well, or connect to them well. Or at least this didn't have your name on it, or wasn't yours, yet. But parts of you got 2 ears to hear. Because you didn't listen, which is first, before seeing clearly, or connecting correctly, with others and yourself. So some parts of you only got the lower or basic model of listening. Maybe because you are out of touch with yourself, or others. Or even lower, what you saw was shuffled, not in order or sequence, in you. You need the basics before you can rush to the higher end. But all parts of you got something to hear to see to make yourself more interesting and connect to others better. In the end you found your gift was to weigh things out, or to balance. This was the value, yet when you picked this up I think you reduced that value because you did not use it in a valuable way. You need to weigh out - perhaps between listening and seeing, or what you haven't got and what you need, maybe instead of what you want. Or simply, to connect with others you need to listen first. And then you can see them, and fully connect. Or maybe it means to weigh out who your friends are, before rushing in.

Thanks guys A hotel represents a "temporary state of mind" , so whatever you are feeling at present will change. Everyone expecting to get free Ipads and other apple gadgets could be suggesting that if it sounds too good to be true, perhaps it is just that. The Apple as a symbol does also have a throwback to the old Apple symbol of temptation, forbidden fruit. Something that appeared to be "golden" turns out to be fake. I think you have already figured out your dream, but I would take exception to thinking that a "friends with benefits" relationship is golden, when in fact it's lacking in it's wholeness as a partnership, longterm and committed. Yes, I do agree that the dream is talking about that relationship. TL
