Thread: Ax and Stump

I had a dream a while back about an ax or hatchet sticking out of a tree stump. I guess the dream wasn't "about" this, but while I was sleeping I just had this image in my head of an ax sticking out of this stump, as if someone had just chopped down a tree and had stuck their ax in there, only I think it looked old, as if the tree was chopped down ages ago and the ax was left in there to rot with it. I wouldn't think this was too big of a deal, but about a year before I had a completely different dream, but in it was a stump with an ax sticking out of it as well. I thought since maybe it recurred it had meaning. I found no mention of this through searching, so I'm assuming that nobody else has dreamt of anything like this? Could any of you try interpreting this for me? I really have no idea what it could mean and appreciate any insight. Thanks.
