My thinking is that I do not know you well enough to figure out the meaning. To me knowing something about the dreamer is essential to figuring out an explanation to the dream. Who are you? What's going on in your life? What's on your mind?
If this were my dream, I would say that the fact that it's part llama part lizard would suggest that maybe things are not what they appear in this dream. But then again I tend to have a lot of metaphorical dreams, do things rep represent other stuff in my dreams.
I find it kind of ironic that you mistrust the Asian man because you feel he maybe does not have the llama's best interest in mind, and yet you are the one who just ate a part of the creature. That's a bit hypocritical, don't you think? Maybe you should mistrust yourself for not having the llamas best interest in mind. Maybe you are mistaking having your own self interest for having the other's interest in mind? The Asian man may be calling the creature to protect it from you. Can you be trusted? Do you have doubt about that in your mind?
Did you watch any fantasy movie or read a fantasy book? This llama lizard makes me think of fantasy creatures where combining elements of different animals is more normal than in fact.
Does it matter that the Asian man is Asian? Even if you are not consciously prejudiced against Asians, our dreaming minds often think in terms of stereotypes. Write down your associations to "Asian" - what you think when you think Asian, and then use the resulting words to see whether they help you interpret this dream.
I think ultimately you are your best dream interpreter because you know best what your thoughts are like.
It's certainly an interesting dream you got there.
EDIT: new insights: Your title of "The Path of ..." Made me think of the spiritual path to enlightenment. That together with the Asian man made me think of the Dalai Lama. lama, llama, lizard, and lamb all start with L. Eating the body of the llama could be like eating the body of the lamb in Christianity, a Communion of sort, and that is also confirmed by it being a mana like substance - mana the bread from heaven as a precursor to communion. Btw, I think the dragon head might fit better with the Asian theme than the lizard, since dragons are important symbols in parts of Asian culture. maybe this dream is a spiritual dream fusing elements from Christianity and Asian spirituality, hence the llama with the dragon head as a fused animal.
