I agree with JoannaB's thoughts regarding the reason nobody has offered any interpretation. Personally I pop by here fairly often and I think I read every dream posted here, and sometimes I get a hunch or there's a dream that sparks my imagination, and I try to "interpret" it, or rather just write down my thoughts. But with most dream, however interesting they are to read, there is no "hunch" and I don't write my thoughts about it because there aren't any.
Also, the kind of dream you posted is difficult to offer an explanation for, because it is quite unpersonal. You have no conscious relation to its contents -- you don't live during the middle ages, you don't have any brothers, and so forth. So it is very difficult for anybody (including oneself) to connect the dream to the one who had it.
If you dreamed that your boss was angry at you and then there was I girl you had to save, there would be easier to assume the relationship between the contents of the dream and the dreamer. How is your relationship to you boss, in what way do you feel threatened, is the girl an image yourself, and so on. But if you dream that you are in a place you have no real associations to, and there's a strange man there with a broken vase and there's a fountain in the middle, and you have no idea what this is all about -- it is almost impossible in my mind (others may disagree of course) to offer an interpretation that is satisfactory to the dreamer. The contents is "unpersonal" in the sense that the dreamer has no conscious relationship to them, so even if I offered a correct analysis (if that would be possible) the dreamer cannot really relate to it.
I think your dream is a fantastic little story, and I'm happy that you shared it, but sadly I have very little to offer in way of interpretation. One thing that I personally find interesting is the seemingly common pattern that the dream starts out in a personal environment and sort of sinks down to unpersonal environment. But unfortunately it is the latter parts that baffles the dreamer, naturally, and begs interpretation and is perhaps the main motivation for posting the dream for others interpret.
Personally I cannot help with that, but if I would say anything, it would be, that in this dream you are on a journey inwards, from your familiar parts of your self, into the depths of your own inner world, and there you have brothers, helpers; let's say energies of great potential illustrated by three knights, which in a way will walk with you in this life. And that must be something good. But it is perhaps more for contemplation than interpretation, if you follow me.
