The only person who can tell you what this dream means is you, Mica45. Though Superman1 makes an excellent point, and asks a question well worth considering, you need to draw your own conclusions about those butterflies.
The meaning of images varies from person to person, so ultimately it'll be up to you to define what they meant to you. I suggest you try this little exercise:
Take a moment with a piece of paper and pen and write down, even if you've already done so, all the images you saw in the dream. Be extremely specific (i.e., those blue dots are an image on their own and ought to be listed that way), and be sure to include everything you encountered, even if you don't think right now that they mattered. Then, next to each image, write in just a couple of words what each image means to you in general. Then let the whole thing sit for a little while.
Later, come back and look at what you've written, and see if something jumps out at you, if one image is more important than the others, if some groups of images stand out as relating to each other, or perhaps if there is a pattern to what you wrote earlier. Then write down, without giving it much thought, what you see now. Then look at what you wrote down, and think about it. You might find that the meaning is sitting right there on the paper in front of you.
I hope that made sense, and that it helps. There are some things that people can tell you about a dream, but ultimately the real meaning will only be found by you... sorry!
