A week ago I dreamed I had an opportunity for a job that involved going to the forest in Oregon and selecting trees to cut that don't have veins of iron in the wood. Since iron is a conductor, it interferes with wireless functionality for the products the wood is used in. The forest is beautiful. The ground is mostly iron. Depending on climate or other environmental conditions, the trees partially incorporate iron into the wood or they don't. In Indian forests the wood is almost black with iron.

Here I've used the word iron, but in the dream it could have been some other kind of dark metal. I doubt this dream makes literal sense in any world. If the composition of the rock were that heavy, lacking lighter elements like silicon, I would guess there wouldn't be much carbon in the atmosphere for the wood either.

Last night I dreamed that the fusion energy output in the universe, measured by some advanced technique, exceeds the explainable stellar energy output by about half, implying some other source. This dream also contained an image of Venus, but Venus was not a sphere, it was more like a half dozen smaller spheres in a row.

I think these dreams both represent something metaphorically.
