i had another interesting dream about my ex which leaves me puzzled since he ended our relationship over a year ago.

my ex was in the house of my mother and was talking to her. he was sad and regretful. he told her that he couldn't stand up
to it because he was scared i would get into a fight with him. he meant they way he ended it with us (in reality he really just
distanced himself and didn't wanna talk about anything). my mother told him that indeed i would have fought with him.
later my mother told me that and he was there sitting and waiting for me. he didn't want to leave.

what could that possibly mean??
