Can someone please explain this dream to me?

I am 13 years old. I am a male. Please explain this to me.

I was having a decent dream, which involved an alternate world, where everybody had one clone. I was in an academy, not sure for what, but I was still the only person in my class who didn’t have a clone. I was on my way, when Sammy, a significant dream character, and some others from my class, were playing a version of underwater tag.

I returned to the academy, and they said my clone was ready. I was happy, but then I was overcome with sudden depression. I went to the cloning bay, to the sign out section. I then saw what seemed to be the silhouette of my clone. I couldn’t see any features, as the receive room was dark, and suddenly, a window closed, and the blinds opened, I looked around, and everyone was gone. I heard a scream, then at the end of a long dark hallway, there was a limp-running figure. It was a woman in medical robes, but her face was covered in blood.

She screamed, and she reached me, and I couldn’t move, then, my clone appeared behind her, and tore her in two. He returned to the receive room. I walked up to the silhouette, and made contact with it’s arm, it reached out, and then grabbed my face.

I woke up, but could not move and still felt dead. The woman, my clone’s silhouette and a tall dark figure were next to me. The woman was the closest. Her eyes were wide. And then she said, in a whisper like tone “Why have you done this?” Then, she backed up as the figure grabbed me. He impaled me with his tentacles, made of pure darkness.

My clone walked towards me, shoved his arm through me, threw me at the ground. Then he kneeled, and said “The better replacement is here.” I then woke up, but in a state of sleep paralysis, and the tall dark figure walked toward me. I finally blinked, and I was awake.

Here is one possible way of looking at this dream, but of course I may be wrong, and if this does not sound right to you, please ignore.

You felt like you were in the process of learning (academy), and you felt like you were different from everyone else (no clone), then just as you were beginning to think you might become like everyone else in a way - integrate into the community, become accepted - you were gripped by doubt as to whether that is truely what you wanted: did you want to be like everyone else? Did you really want to fit in? The idea of fitting in was not fully formed in you yet, and you realized that you wanted to maybe be more individualistic or to do things your way. But then you questioned whether doing things your way was the right thing to do. Was it evil to not fit in, to not be like the others? Did your self interest come at the expense of the community, would doing things your way harm others and ultimately perhaps even harm yourself?

Oh my crease, man. You are good at what you do.

      Here's another dream:

I was asleep. Deep asleep. I suddenly felt a hand on my arm. I looked around. I saw a woman next to me, on my bed. Not an average woman, though. One that could easily be out of the fantasies of most men. Long, blond hair, perfect, fair skin, and blue eyes. She looked into my eyes, as she gently placed herself on top of me. I looked around, and with a quiet “okay”, I let her on. As the lovemaking began, she looked around. She stood up, and I noticed she was still in full clothing.

She looked around again. She slowly began taking off her clothes. The rest does not necessarily need description. As the lovemaking continued, a strange man came through the door. He looked into the room, and, walked away quietly, as the woman had not heard him. She continued, and placed my hand somewhere, which does not need description. Then, the nightmare begins.

She suddenly disappears. I panic. Suddenly, a dead woman from another dream appears. She reaches for me, but stops inches away, as she is tied to a noose. The noose breaks, and I get up, run to the nearest door, and find a long hallway. I run. I keep running, take a right. There was a dead end. I back up against the wall, and she rounds the corner. The wall suddenly breaks.

Another hallway is there. There are three people in each fork of the hallway. My mother, my brothers, and my father. I run to my brothers, but as I do, I suddenly gain control, and split myself into three clones. I run for all three. But the woman is gaining. She screams and points at me, as two more copies of her burst through the walls.

As I run, my family falls through the ground, and so do my clones, and same with the clones of the woman. I find a dead end, but this time, it does not break. I sit. It seems like hours are passing. I start crying, which I don’t usually do. She comes closer to me. She reaches for me. But when I blink, I am standing in a field, and there are flower petals flowing from her body. She suddenly looks like the woman at the beginning.

I stand there, trying to comprehend what just happened. She reaches to my face, and wipes of a tear from my cheek. She kisses my cheek, and I look at her. She kisses my lips. And then I see her walk away, and dissipate into butterflies and flowers. And then, I’m awake.

Ok, I will give your second dream a try as well, but I may be wrong on this:

First of all your sexual instincts have already kicked in. That's normal and nothing wrong with that. Teenage years are a time of hormonal changes. Does not mean of course that sex is a good idea yet in waking life, but in dreams you can experience the advantages without some of the possible issues. I think the woman may be fully clothed because your mind kind of knows this is not real. Alternatively, this could be a hint that this is not exactly about sex after all. This scene could be about desire in a broader sense of the word, about wishes, about being in greater unity with all parts of yourself.

Why does the man look in? I wonder whether that is about a perceived lack of privacy? About not being able to do what you want without someone watching. I am thinking here about the fact that you are 13, and I know that is a common issue 13 year olds perceive. Teens wish they had more privacy, but parents believe that it is still too early for that. Keep in mind that your parents do have your best interests in mind even if it may not always seem so from your point of you. They are protecting you as best as they can. While you already have the desire for privacy, it is still time for someone to check in to make sure you are ok.

And as the next scene shows, you are not all ok. The dead woman is disturbing. Of course, it could be fairly harmless dream symbolism that exaggerated the issue. Could be something as harmless as for example symbolizing the death of innocence, showing you that the more childish parts of your personality are dying as you grow up. Or it could be a reflection of part of you maybe thinking that it is too early for you to dream of sex, and thus punishing yourself for it? This part of your dream could symbolize the death of desire or the desire for death. Now death could be harmlessly symbolic in this dream, and not really mean death. However, in the worst case scenario this could be about suicidal thoughts - but this dream interpretation would only apply if you actually do have such thoughts in waking life - one should never assume something like that based only on a dream. However, if you do have any such thoughts while awake, please seek out help! Talk to your parents or if your issues are with them, talk to a grownup more distant family member, a grownup friend whom you trust, or a counselor at school please.

The fact that your family members do show up in this dream may be a confirmation that this dream may have something to do with your family, or it may just be that it is personal in a familiar way or something like that.

The clones: you seem to have a pattern there of dreaming of clones - you could use that as a dream sign to help you realize you are dreaming in the future - if you have an interest in lucid dreaming, which I recommend.

The clones could be about a perception of loss of individuality, an expectation of being like others. For example if your parents have certain expectations for you to conform to social norms or to match some social expectations, and if you feel that you wish you could be more individual ... Could be something like that, but it could also be something else of course (there are always more than one possible interpretations, and keep in mind that a dream can have several meanings).

The final scene where the dead woman turns into the desirable woman and then reassures you and then turns into butterflies - that is a wonderful dream ending! I think it is about reassurance, a message such as: hang in there - all will end well; things are not as bad as they may seem when you look at them pessimistically; you still got your dreams and your imagination and your wishes and desires, and they can be beautiful; and even bad issues can turn into good eventually. A happy ending - good stuff! One of the purposes of dreams is creative problem solving, and it appears that in this dream your mind came to a good resolution. So this shows that perhaps you do not need help from someone else after all because your mind appears to be strong and capable of resolving your issues - does not mean that seeking help when needed is not a good idea, but it does appear that the dream ending is suggesting that all will be well with you.
