please someone explain my dream to me abt two moons

yesterday night when i went to bed i had an intention of Lucid Dreaming. Unfortunately i wasn't success this time. but i had an weird dream instead. I have seen there is two moons in the sky one of them is normal but the other one is bit bluish. however, except the color both of the moon looked alike, even there was a big moon like planet behind the bluish moon. that was almost 10 times bigger than the normal moon size. anyway, after that within a glance the bluish moon and the huge planet behind it suddenly vanished. can anyone tell me what did it mean? or it was just a dream, which i don't think so

We have an expression "once in a blue moon" which means so rare it almost never happens. Oh, and two moons of course never do happen in reality. Since you went to bed with the intension of lucid dreaming, maybe your subonscious was helpfully trying to tell you that this is impossible?

But do they say that expression in Bangladesh and Malaysia?

      Question TWO YOUs

It's doubtful your dream was related directly to your intention, but maybe indirectly.

The two moons were the two sides of you.
      One the normal.
The other perhaps the one you want.
It might mean that doesn't happen often, or maybe peaceful. But this side had a whole world within you behind it to explore.

This can be the you 10x bigger than normal. Your spiritual side it can be, if you are into that. Or the side beyond anyway.

So when you glanced at this rare side, it vanished from you, because you can't yet access it or control it.

Somebody posted almost this same dream on another site a couple of days ago. Their dream featured the moon in a black sky with a reflection of the earth behind the moon. Instead of vanishing, at the end the reflected earth did a funny effect as if reflected ad infinitum in two opposing mirrors. I had a dream the same night of many people perceiving a reflection of the earth in a black sky. In my dream there was no moon, but the feeling through which the earth was reflected was moon-like.

I think the moon represents the muse that inspires this kind of dream, and it represents the way our imagination reflects our worldly experience and vice versa.

hmm ur one makes a lot of sense to me, I started to induce Lucid Dream recently, when today I had another one, this one was WILD, this time I managed to stay for a longer time than before, but I still have a lot to learn like, how to keep things clear during Lucidity, make everything follow my orders and many more. I also tried to meet my higher self in one of my DILD Lucid dream, where I teleported in a room with a door, where I think my Higher Self is behind that door, hopefully, when I will be able to meet my Higher Self and accomplish the stuffs, the moon and the big planet won't vanish anymore

My friends and I made another Moon on the Dream Plane, and terraformed it, so the whole thing is green. Maybe you can perceive it.

A week ago somebody posted a dream on another site called A Trip to the Moon which I think has to do with your moon WakingNomad, it fits quite well.

At the risk of getting banned for referencing a complimentary site, here's a link: DreamMoods.com • View Topic - A Trip to the Moon.

This particular dream here in this thread doesn't seem as close to me though. Of course there can be connections that I'm not aware of, but my dream was definitely of an image of the earth projected through a metaphorical moon. It seems to fit their dreams closely, and it doesn't feel to me like the other dream that I connect with your moon, or the two other dreams I've had about you.

      Cool Two M☺☺n Junction

I probably should have said: It's doubtless your dream was related directly to your intention, but maybe more directly.
Because it could have been just about Lucid Dreaming, but showing you where you are at in it.
Though probably usually lucid dreaming means one wants to become lucid or clear in life. So the deeper meanings or what's behind it are most important, and maybe are the real message.
The moon is a perfect symbol for reflecting the source of light, so must mean how you reflect that Spiritual Self.

I made a thread about picking people up on a psychedelic bus, and taking them to the Moon, on 7/20/2011.

I'll PM the other person a link, since I have an account over there.

There seems to be a typo in the link in the last post though, I get an error when I click on it.

Or else the whole deep-dreaming sub-forum is off limits to me for some reason.

      I'll send the other links.

The link works just fine for me. I had to make a special request to get access to deep dreaming subforum, did you do that?

No. I forwarded the other links, so that person can follow up with WakingNomad if they're inclined to.

Totally off topic, but since I have your attention....I have by tomorrow to decide whether to accept a job in San Diego where my wife and kids are, finally after four out of five years of separation. Objectively it looks like what I need to do, so its almost a done deal. But I don't feel good about the company, or something else about the situation, though of course all job situations are flawed. If you want, try to find out in dream or intuition why I feel uncomfortable. Maybe its only indirectly related to the job itself. Also, try to distinguish fears of misfortune, mine and my wife's, from actual potential misfortune. I can pick up both in relation to other people, but am not good at telling the difference.

I'll have way, way less time to read and post after this change, but I'll still be able to make time for it occasionally I think, such as during business trips overseas.
