Thread: So Whats this about anyone interpret the meaning

In this dream I own a shop on the outskirts of town. The shop is empty other than a counter
the walls are white tiled, there is a queue of people waiting to be served they are waiting for the arrival of a delivery of fresh cooked beef (pet food I think)
The dream wanders a bit here the next thing I remember is that i,m in a panic, the, meat has been delivered and is frozen solid and I have to dice it up to sell it, the queue is getting longer as I struggle to cut it up and bag it. The first customer a woman,just a woman I cant describe,all i remember that she is wearing a short beige rain coat she orders 10 or 12 lbs. of meat.
Eventually I manage to dice it and bag it up into lb. bags. I offer to carry it out to her car,
she has no car and says that she is traveling by bus , the bus stop is outside of the shop
so i carry 2 carrier bags full of her purchase out side, at this point she tells me the her bus
doesn't, leave from this stop and asks if I can help her to the bus station up on the other side of town. I glance around and I can see that someone a uncle or friend along with a few of the queuing customers are cutting up the meat for me and seem to be coping quite well, so I agree to help.
In the next part of the dream I am trudging up a long hill towards the bus station
carrying lots of bags the woman at this point is riding me,on my shoulders. I will reward you for this she says. I remember being desperate to get back to the shop, in the dream the journey to the bus station seems endless. The next part I remember is that the woman is boarding the bus and gives me a empty half pint glass as a reward for my help ( I cant remember if I was happy or disappointed with this)
Next I am on my way back down to the shop but I an not walking, there is snow on the ground
and I am sliding down hill on my chest like a sledge, i,m thinking that this is much quicker than walking. As I pass bus stops people are sticking their hands out for me to stop as if i,m a bus. and that's it the dream was a little more hazy than I've described but that's the gist of it,
it stayed in my mind for days.

I get the impression that you seems to be a so called "people pleaser". Im not saying this to be negative or anything, but according to your dream. You seems to be willing to help out a bit to much, rather than you would prefer to. So you seems to be a nice guy, but maybe to nice for your own good I guess. Do you work in some kind of shop in real life?

I would say that you are probably not far off in your interpretation I don't know about being nice but I guess you could say that I am a people pleaser ever since a child the best rewards for me were always praise

Okey I see. Well as you mentioned, you dont have to be super nice to be a people pleaser. But people appreciate someone who always will be willing to help out. The problem is that it's easily becomes to much of a job. And that one is to helpfull for one owns good, can often be a hard thing to realize.

Since you have owned a few shops before, I then would like to connect all this with stress. The thing with being to serviceminded to the extream in the dream could of course easily be connected with the need to please others. But also a stress to run a shop in the best possible way at the same time. So you seem to me, to be stressed out. And the sliding down the hill, I would like to say that you are always on the run to make every body pleased. That could also be a sign why they stops you like a bus on the way, your subconscious could be telling the story here that you have a hard time to passing by someone in need of something. You becomes like a bus then, one who picks up every one. And nothing wrong with that, but since your reward in the dream maybe wasn't to good, and that you seems to be on the run all the time. It's good that you asked others, sometimes the brain can interfere with the conscious' ability to see a problem, figure out a problem, etc. It sounds like your subconscious knows there's a problem and that's good because it is less likely to resist change.

Outskirts, maybe (everything here is maybe since it's your brain) this means you want to be far away from that type of job or dealing with people. Empty shop, you're not really attached to it, like a house without pictures etc on the walls.

Uncle/friends/customers helping means you have help out there if you need it and that customers etc don't need you to over-help them. Chef Ramsay from hell's kitchen might say you're trying to control too much at the same time, you need to let workers do what they're trained to do and do more managing than laboring.
Annoying or needy woman in your life that's like having another job? I've seen some men "lose everything" from being with the wrong woman, whether they're divorced or still together.
The glass might mean alcoholism will be the 'reward' for continuing a life that's too high stress. Or the rewards for doing that kind of job or doing all that you're doing now isn't worth what you'll get out of it, try something new.

Subc telling you that you're doing 'unnatural' things (chest sliding), or too much work in order to achieve your 'goal'.
Better a human bus than a human centipede , you can throw them all out. Do you have too many relatives, friends, etc bothering you IRL or is it all about lots of customers?

Interesting thoughts thank you all. I will take all of that information on board, may I say that it wasn't,t a bad dream in fact parts were quite pleasant, the woman riding on my shoulders I found a little erotic, perhaps I have masochistic tendency's
that i,m not aware of.
