Thread: I dreamt of a black dog in the middle of the street/road what does it mean?

I had a dream last night about a place where I used to live, it still looked the same in my dream before I left to live on another place. There was still the old street and the big gate which is the entrance of a the subdivision/village/suburban area.

So this is how the dream begins, there was a black dog in the middle of the street, sitting/lying down comfortably in the middle.

There was two unknown people who avoided it and passed by it, and then I came to the picture.

I entered from the big gate which is the entrance of my old subdivision/suburban area/village and stopped when I saw the black dog in the middle of the street. The dog wasn't barking nor doing anything threatening, it just sat there.

Afterwards, I turned around and walked away and walked out of the big gate.

What does it mean? can someone help me interpret? Thanks

I don't have an interpretation but me looking at a dog, so he wouldn't bite me, ruined the most important dream I ever had.

I will copying from a post I made in January 2011, for you.

Two dogs, (one black one brown) spoiled my first obe back in - ~1995.

I was deliberately walking back to where my physical body was sleeping to do a conscience re-entry. But these dogies came barking at me. The black one wanted to nip me so I didn’t take my eyes off him, and I never completed the walk home for the conscious re-entry into my physical body. Naughty doggies! !!!

I instinctively did the safety-cap exit and later went through a door and ended up in a real place in England. Then my doppleganger danced into me and I was back in a real place here in Australia, close to where my sleeping body was.

Later still I made up my mind to walk down real streets to get back into my real, sleeping body.

Unfortunately that didn't happen cos two doggies came bounding out of a yard to bite me and I woke up before I got home.

That was 16 years ago.

Maybe it is a black dog's job to alert us to the fact that we are having a genuine Out of Body Experience.

Even if he inadvertently scares us in doing so.
