Someone holding a knife often means we feel untrusting and threatened, but people can represent parts of ourselves or themselves—you were left alone at the end of the dream and it kind of paused like a scary movie, which usually tells us that moment means something. The stabbing was key, maybe about having power but not sure how to use it in the right way or without hurting someone who could end up being someone you care about, even though they seemed like a threat? Could it reference anything from the past, since you end up back at your childhood house? (Just symbolically, like not knowing if you did the right thing or hurt a loved one trying to defend, or even prioritizing your relationship over a family member if they don't get along?) Just brainstorming different takes on it. Sounds like an intense dream, sorry and don't worry too much, they can mean so many different things. It might not be bad. It might be more about feelings.
