Thread: Washing carrots?

I would take a guess that ones teeths becomes gradually as orange/yellow as carrots while one keeps on smoking.. x)

One perspecitive on this is of the carrots being a phallic symbol. Smoking can also be suggestive of copulation.

There seems to be a contradiction in the dream- you are cleaning the carrots, but "dirtying" your lungs through smoking. The cleaning is an external thing, but the "dirtying" is internal. Smoking is an addiction or compulsion.

Do you feel a compulsion to be promiscuous? If I am reading the symbolizm right, there may be some internal issue causing an unhealthy sexual expression. It seems you are trying unsuccessfully to do something about it (cleaning the carrots), but if you can identify & address the internal issue(s), your sexual expression would be free-er & healthier.

Just some brainstorming of ideas: the carrot is a root, and we say "root cause", and the cause of smoke is fire, and you are washing the carrots with water (which can put out the fire). Oh and smoke rises up, while carrots grow down. Also carrots are red kind of like fire. Smoking is unhealthy, while carrots are healthy. Yes, as already mentioned above, both carrots and cigarettes can be phallic. Cleaning is a kind of chore, while smoking can be considered entertainment or addiction.
